The fact that this guy either went to an art school or practiced for probably years to learn to sculpting and is now making a realistic Lego character is the funniest to me. And I love it.

This reminds me of a plushie I got at Legoland. At first, it looked like a normal Lego man…but as it aged it begun to get wrinkled and weird. It didn’t help that it was a hard plush so it kept its shape and had wire inside to allow it to be posed (either that or the weird cardboard in it did that). It was cuddly, but in the same way a cardboard box filled with stuffing and covered in a thin sheet of fabric is. Therefore as the years went on, the fabric stretched out while the base stayed the same, turning my poor builder Lego man into an aged, horrifying, melty nightmare.
the small details on this guy like the pores and the hint of nipple behind his shirt and the wrinkles of his horrid little thumb feet and hands have finally dethroned your realistic toad as the hardest to look at and hardest to look away from sculpture. keep up the great work
Lol someone totally needs to make a parody of The Lego Movie only, like you said, in this realistic style. I would totally watch it, not sure I'd let my 6 year old watch it though..... I value my sleep and don't want him having nightmares

Ever since I was a kid, one of my greatest fears/nightmares was becoming blind, but when I saw this video's thumbnail, I thought to myself "Maybe being blind isn't so bad"
"I considered make him some sandals but I couldn't decide on what style to go with. I suppose a pair or Birkenstocks would probably look pretty smart but maybe *I'll do that next time*" It blows my mind and I love the level of details that you put on your art, it's just amazing. I could have watched this if it went on for an hour. I would have liked to see realistic eyes instead of black, but that might have been too terrifying. The hands were the best part.
This is a pretty amazing sculpture! I love the horrifying amount of detail you put into this. Also, if you're looking to continue the whole Pokemon evolution line sculpture thing, the Garchomp line or Pidgeot line would be really cool.

As an amateur artist, I love it, as a Lego Collector, I would KILL to have that on my shelf next to my Lego sets.
