It feels like the gaming community as a whole is very anti crypto because they are tired of bad games being released around pay to win mechanics like loot boxes. The only way crypto gaming takes off is if it’s pro user, a great game and not a cash grab by the developers. Even then, it’s an up hill battle getting adoption from gamers

The bitter truth is that many crypto bros don't know the difference between a game and casino. The casino industry has been trying to intrude the gaming industry (Raid: Shadow Legend, developed by a literal casino company), and AAA gaming developers have been picking up practices from casinos, like gacha etc. When gamers say they want an actual video game they don't mean blackjack, but with elves and goblins. They mean a game that's fun and doesn't require you to keep throwing money at it to keep being fun.
