If I understand correctly, for a motovlogger who has to publish reels while traveling with his motorbike, it is better to set the GoPro on the helmet vertically, right? and not horizontally, this way you will have a vertical video and won't lose pixels, right? but when recording with the GoPro in a vertical position, what settings should I give to the GoPro to then obtain a professional quality reel? apart from 4k, how many fps should you set on the gopro? 25/30fps?

We don’t have an iPad. Sorry we don’t know the answer as it’s not in our workflow.

why didn't you select at 9:12 buttom "render at maximum depth" and "use maximum render quality" ?Are they important to select or did you want to ignore them voluntarily?

Looked for videos to fix it but after different four minutes intros I saw they worked on a computer so I was wondering if I can edit my reel on my phone, too.

What about the framerate/size of the data? Is it a difference if i record it for insta and upload it with 4k/60fps or 4k/120fps?
For sure the 120 will be larger but also worse?
DW about the frame rate when shooting, choose that based on the environment and the shot that you want to capture, when you come to export and setting up your frame size, you can choose the frame rate, this is also what you will be uploading, i selected 24fps in this tutorial, instagram recommends 30fps but I prefer 24 for exporting and i think it looks good.
Not sure I get you editing in 4K when Instagram does not allow 4K video, reels or anything, so you will be relying on them to compress your video instead of you? I think IG at one time did allow 4K but now they are back to HD only, so maybe an update to this video?
Sure it depends on your computer as well, if you want to speed up the workflow work in 1080 workspace but if you’re posting to TH-cam shorts and other platforms, which most creators are, not just Instagram, then 4K across the board is best
If I post 4k to instagram it automatically compress it. is it correct? then sould I export footage in 1080 and then upload it?
reduce file size by reducing bitrate then you can cheat the compression

Hey mate, does it really matter which device you upload your reels ? I'm new to this content creators family.I shoot with sony a6400/24fps/4K and edit in Final Cut Pro. I've literally spent hours and hours watching TH-cam for high quality uploads, tried everytging they recommmended (exporting in 1080p, enable IG high quality uploads, use 30 fps) nothing works. I upload from my samsung phone. I'm literally stuck with some good videos on my conputer and not being able to upload them on IG simply because they will compress and make my content sh****t no matter what I do. So, uploading device really matters ?
Instagram doesn't let you upload in 24 FPS. I think it defaults to 30 no matter what.
But how some of reels are getting butter smooth fps, its like 60 or 120 fps.. how are they acheiving it??? Is there any cheat code to it??

why do you upscale smaller clips into 4k? you LOSE quality which is the opposite of the title of this video. Also @2:24 is a long awkward way to say use a camera that can shoot LOW light.
You don’t lose quality by upscaling clips, often times the video platforms process them with better codecs when presented in a larger frame size
this video could be 1 minute long

4k is noticably worse quality on ig reels then 1080. and upscaling is a huge nono. another "influencer" spewing stuff he knows nothing about
