Discover Moffat Farmers' Market

Moffat's farmers' market is held on the second Sunday every month (except for November when it moves to 3rd Sunday so as not to coincide with remembrance). It hosts about 35 local producer's stalls, mostly food and drink producers, and with a handful of crafters too. This video was made on April 10th 2022.
Moffat is a beautiful wee town in the northeast of Dumfries and Galloway, set under the magnificent Moffat hills where golden eagles soar, and red squirrels roam the nearby woodlands and forests. Moffat has a long history of agriculture, and was once one of Scotland's major trading towns when wool was a key component in the manufacture of clothing, bedding and furnishings.
