    Never been or heard of Moffat so good to see around the area. Thanks for sharing some of the history. Enjoyed the video. 👍🏻🚶🏻‍♂️🚶‍♀️

    Have been there several times, but not for many years now. Was using it as a stopover on longer trips further up in Scotland and on the way back. I never knew about the graveyard, nor noticed the missing ears of the sculpture. Lovely town, a hidden gem by a lot of accounts, and your video has brought back some lovely memories. Thank you so much.

    This is great. Never visited but looks an interesting place.
    Great stories - the sheep sculpture 😂 and the narrowest hotel!!
    McAdam’s grave. - amazing that someone who had such an impact on the world is buried there. Plus Dowdings memorial - a real hero!
    No ideas on the TV shows 😂😂

    nice place...we visited it many many years ago...i remember visiting the Grey mares tail waterfall...would love to go back for a good look around

    Why don't they cut the grass ,,my greatgrandmother came from Moffat

      Hi 👋 we are not sure why the grass hasn't been cut , we will see if we can find anything out about it. It's a lovely place to visit .

      I think that day we went they just had not cut the grass, I had a look at some more photos on the internet and it does look like they cut it sometimes.
