Is it possible to bring custom models from Blender into FS25 and allow people to have a functioning Moonshine operation? I made a ton of moonshine stills and equipment for a game I was making, but scratched the idea due to the scope being too large since I'm a solo dev. And FS25 seems like a good fit, especially considering the game has basically all the ingredients needed to make a good whiskey or brandy.
Please so info needed here I have added crops in the past I would like to do the same again but I want to do this for all maps In the past I done this map centric I would assume the idea is to create extended Xml files and instruct the base game files to include them as part of the core games Xml Is this the idea and is there information on what files are where

"next little topic" changing/adding wheels and changing/adding lights and beacons!!! PLEASE!!!!! couple little Beacon16 from the assets-beaconLights folder on the top of the roll cage would be nice! I know how to place them because of this tutorial, but getting them active with the right keys through the xml is where i get stumped. Wheels I've tried and then it does the fun little index path shuffle and i break the whole machine. THANK YOU FOR AN AWESOME SET OF TUTORIALS!!!
Fantastic video it’s exactly what I needed to see. So much is different from GE9. Now just need a refresher on changing wheels to add more options. In 22 I added tracks to a few tractors that didn’t have them is that possible with the new wheel setup in XML’s? This whole series is so helpful! I am following along messing around with the Goewiel G1F125...is there a better way to figure out which material cooresponds to which item? This baler, the body is two seterste slots and the pickup is still the base color, none of the descriptions fit the pickup and i am about to try all 10 of them lol.
Great tutorial! It looks like it's easier to add parts to paint than in FS22. Do you know if it's possible to add a custom color to the color palette? I'll add that after "materialSlotName=" you can add "materialTemplateUseColorOnly=True" if you want the material to be the same as the original and only change its color. Useful when you want to change the color of the interior and want to keep the fabric material.

Fresh news, they released new version of the app: 1- You can now use “open mod from game”, (i don't know the mods are from my fs22 or they just from the fs25 data folder.) 2- The weird thing is: you can't use open mod (below open mod from game), you will get a message (converting function is coming soon).

But as an example all of the Fendt tractors. They have a white roof. When I select the "cabin" in the senegraph it seems to be selected. But it is in none of it's underparts. When I enter a slot name and save it, after reopening it, the slotname is gone. Great Video tho 👍
Have you by chance figured out correct water effects with converted wheels, I cant get the "splash" effect the original fs25 vehicles make when going through water.

I have not tried this method with every ingame thing. So there may be some random stuff GE sis that is new. Try with the same vehicle and see if it works
i do not have the errors when creating a new mod from game, however the "save as" function is broken for me, it just saves the file in the normal way, exactly doing what you told me to not to do
I've been trying to add the chainsaw holder to the kubota and using the Pfanzelt rwgP13 logging trailer as a reference since it has the holder. I'm able to get the chainsaw holder placed where I want along with the chainsaw holder node but it requires a player trigger and I can't figure out how to add that. Any chance you could show how to add the chainsaw holder in a video? All steps would be great in case I did something wrong up to this point.

Question...I dug around in the game install files searching for an xml that had a list of the color tags. I wasn't able to find them. Am I on the right track looking for a definitions file for a colors name list?

Working our way there, probably start with putting a part ingame on the atv to teach how materials are assigned. Working our way towards a full mod eventually
@@LAMBOMODS that video you links is good but it dont help me. i have a tractor i want to edit the hood on but when i export it its not there the only things that are there are the headlights and grills even if i export the the whole model into a obj there is no hood or roof in blender
Are you exporting a ingame tractor? If so, you will break it. You need to know how to merge meshes and its complex.... LIKE SUPER COMPLEX, above your current skill level.. heck even mine

I have declared "plasticPainted" inside of the editor for the material "rtvxg850_plasticPainted_mat" This should change colors of the plastic bits and give a third color change box, right? It doesn't
So i cant seem to get the zipped file to load, the unzipped file loads completely fine but when i remove it form the mod folder and zip it up and add the zip it disappears. Am i doing something wrong?

Had no problem opening maps and mods in GE10, the only thing blocked is “auto convert” which has never been a good tool from day one. If GE doesn’t open for you, look at your path and xml settings for it.
I get this error every time I try to follow the video I made a machine that worked this way but unfortunately it won't let me do it anymore Failed to find material by material slot name 'ISEKI_WHITE1' in 'vehicle.designColorConfigurations.material(0)'

@@bbdude10123 no, it's really just a trail and error... if you see a leather seat, it's probably a leather material

There is a custom color palette mod i use and using base colors in the coding it works!

@@marn200 you can select the i3d and shapes file in you ingame vehicle folders. Copy n paste into new mod as well.

@@LAMBOMODS that video you links is good but it dont help me. i have a tractor i want to edit the hood on but when i export it its not there the only things that are there are the headlights and grills even if i export the the whole model into a obj there is no hood or roof in blender
Are you exporting a ingame tractor? If so, you will break it. You need to know how to merge meshes and its complex.... LIKE SUPER COMPLEX, above your current skill level.. heck even mine

Using designColor2Configuration doesn't do anything?
I have declared "plasticPainted" inside of the editor for the material "rtvxg850_plasticPainted_mat"
This should change colors of the plastic bits and give a third color change box, right? It doesn't
Now the mod just doesn't show up at all. wtf
So i cant seem to get the zipped file to load, the unzipped file loads completely fine but when i remove it form the mod folder and zip it up and add the zip it disappears. Am i doing something wrong?

You did something wrong my friend, should work first time go. If not you need to check you log.txt file or start over. You have all the tools :)

You can't add a tractor without blender 😅, I am sure there is a video out there showing how to install that software. I have not made one yet thou.

Okay I've been reinstalling and deleting my Giants 10 and it still doesn't work for me anyone having this issue to?

It’s because they haven’t finished editor yet can’t open maps or anything
Had no problem opening maps and mods in GE10, the only thing blocked is “auto convert” which has never been a good tool from day one. If GE doesn’t open for you, look at your path and xml settings for it.
@ I can open maps but can’t open from in game option like open mod from in game or map from in game
Definitely can open maps. Like Taz said, make sure to check file paths

@@Gamer4LifeDK_ for some reason giants editor is doing some odd stuff that I can't explain which leads me to beleive there is a bug in GE. I still need to test, I could not get the same rice machine to change color either...
