I have a Voodoo Blue and White 2007 FJ. I too love this truck. I have a 3 inch lift with Billstiens, Falken Wild Peaks, cold air intake, pedal commander, and round LED classic lights. The truck flies! It’s at the point that I have to sell or put money into it. So, I am installing a D4D Toyota Diesel motor and transmission, having the body pulled off the frame and completely sandblasted, sealed and painted, any parts that need replacement replaced, installing an aluminum Demelo bumper with a Warn Zion winch, and the addition of Baja Design LP4/LP6/Squadron Lights. The truck will get double the gas mileage with a huge increase in low end torque. It will be virtually a brand new truck for far less $$ for a comparable decked out Bronco or Jeep and it won’t lose value especially with the diesel installed.
Holy moly man. That's a lot of work but it truly shows how much you also love FJs. It will turn out insane when you're done. Please post a video when it was done. Demello aluminum bumpers are great. I love how they look. They were my second favorite after Tinkerer. My first FJ was armed to the teeth. I'm gonna have to do the same on this one too. Probably new wheels with more negative offset, snorkel, borla exhaust, roof rack, ladder, LED bar and CAI
same here man! i have black 2011, heavily modified and I love it. Favorite car I have ever owned and i have had many. including luxury vehicles. None made me as happy as the FJ.
@@UncleFjester yes, it's a beautiful spot. We spent the night in monument valley and slept in the rear of the FJ with the back door open and watched the stars. Can't wait to go back again.
@@miguelpadron7081 thank you for your kind words. This is the Tinkerer bumper which in my opinion is the best one out there for FJs. It's very well engineered and it's manufactured in a few batches every year. You can put your email in their website and you'll be notified as soon as there's a batch available. Good luck man
In 2015 I bought a 2012 FJ with 90k miles, $23,000. Traded it in a year later for a jeep for no reason other than wanting something new Sold the jeep when I moved abroad and just a couple weeks ago I decided I wanted another car for when I visit home, I wanted another FJ because that thing was so perfect Bought a 2010 with 200k miles, $20,000 😭. I knew I was buying at the absolute peak of their value but I wanted one so bad. Wish I never got rid of the first one but at least I have one again
@@stanleyipkiss3806 great story Stanley and I very much relate since I sold my first FJ before moving to the US. Definitely not selling this one. Hold on to yours because it will only appreciate it value. New generation cars are made cheap and way less reliable than our tanks

beautiful FJ . I really agree with the points made about why a FJ is funner then the 4 runner

Totally agreed. FJ cruiser is a very special car and there's nothing like it to be honest.
