There is defenitely an escaleting progression of their redemption as character's.I believe if Gordes had as much screen time as his son he would be just as awesome as a character,i mean in just one episode he not only became somewhat useful and cooperative but also started to admit his mistakes,i don't know anyone else who was able to did that...tho it is true that the amount of acomplishment's his son have for the team is unparalleled and dad would be having a hard time to catch up....
There are is a sub-category is servants out there where there Servant possesses a mortal body rather being summoned called a Psuedo-servant. Ruler is not officially recognized as one, but she has all the characteristics of one. Irisviel from the end of Fate/Zero when she became possessed by Anjra Manyu is something similar. There are like more than 20 Pseudo-Servants in FGO. In Jean's case there is reason why she couldn't manifest a body, so she found a willing volunteer for the possession. The servant personality is also not always constantly in the driver's seat. Jean switches places with the girl she possesses, sometimes the heroic spirit seems like they're in control all the time, and sometimes it's more like the heroic spirit takes a back seat and the possessed person stays in control. Pseudo-servants are more common when the spirit being summoned is either too powerful to be summoned as a Heroic Spirit on their own such as a God so they allow only a small fragment of their power to possess a mortal allowing them to interviene as a servant. The other type are people who were not really heroic enough to be a Heroic Spirits on their own, but are otherwise famous. Pseudo-servants possess the abilities of both the spirit empowering them . @@ЯрекДемо Muramasa isn't a spoiler. He appears very early in Shimousa and him being a Pseudo-Servant of Shirou is of little relevance to any part of the plot in FGO
My boy Gordes dosnt deserve being comapred to shinji comapred to him dude is a saint heck comapred to most people. That aside i really like that this story coverd the theme of homonculi being used for war and Sieg finding his purpose, sure its kinda hard to digest sieg as a character because of his personality as a homonculi just learning to live but i think he is good
Siegfried's "immortality" is not as potent as Achilleses tho.......unless his heel is what being targeted you cannot harm him without eather a divinity or a servant with divine construct, and the only servant in the black team with divinity is Chiron so he's literally the one who can harm him.....Achilles is also stated to be THE fastest servant in Fate period ,even if someone has more agility stat than him he has a noble phantasm that literally makes him the fastest on the phield so it doesn't matter,so piercing his heel is much easier say than do....Siegfried's protection is an armor that negates attack's up to certain rank (B if i remembering correctly similarly to Heracleses God hand) but everything above that can harm him just fine even tho he has enchanced regenerative capabilities thanks to the Fafnir's blood.
Armor of Fafnir diminish the damage to the amount equivalent of a B-Rank Strenght or Weapon. So , it's not that it fully negates an attack up to B-Rank , it's that when the attack lands , Armor of Fafnir subtracts the damage and it reached 0. Meaning that if you had a weapon that is B+ or an attack that gives a damage equivalent to B+ , the subtraction makes Siegfried receives damage...of an E-Rank attack. Incidentally , Karna also have an armor to protect from damage , but his armor serves a substraction of 90% of damage , regardless of Ranks. In short , he always receives...one-tenth of damage of any attack on his armor.
He also think's that Sieg made a contract with Ruler even tho it was just a formality....(i can already see him getting surprised in strange fake when a cerstain character answer's that no i am not your master)😂
You may dislike Gordes but his son Goredolf is the GOAT

When a Holy Grail War ends, the Command Seals are supposed to go to the Church Overseer, which is Shiro in this case.

@ЯрекДемо edit, good call out, didn't think of those as spoilers.

Gordes is no Shinji. He's incompetent but not evil. And why do you assume that Sieg's command spells are for Ruler?
