- Local forecast recorded in Gulfport, MS. on 10/24/05 with the Hurricane Wilma storm alert music...Kinda ironic that when the last time I heard the storm alert was during Katrina when power went out, when we finally got cable back almost 2 months after Katrina I turn it on TWC and what do I hear...storm alert!!!
LOL...It was just funny hearing this music and it being fair weather...and not hearing wind gusts could reach 150 mph!!
I am a survivor of Wilma, I used to live in Delray Beach (one of the worst affected areas), an amazing story, there used to be a huge palm tree in my old backyard, & it fell on the rear neighbours house during the worst part of hurricane wilma.
I'm in Idaho and I remember falling in love with this music when it started suddenly on katrina
About 2 weeks before this...and got cable back just 3 days before recording this....thats why I don't have any Hurricane Rita coverage that I would have recorded.
Wow, it was kind of chilly near the coast in late October.
Jack Langefeld I in the Florida's coast and Hurricane Wilma was in the video, and I moved to Ohio
The mountains of West Virginia and Pennsylvania got snow that same day.
Storm alert music was national. If you look around on youtube there are some local forecasts with this music during Katrina that wasn't in the hurricanes path.
Actually Wilma was a Cat 3 at this point and during landfall. Wilma was a Cat 5 in the Carribbean and TWC didn't play storm alert when Wilma was a Cat 5, only when it began to threaten Florida and at that time it was a Cat 3.
@HurricaneFreak30336 I live in South florida, where wilma made a direct hit. The next day, it was like 50 degrees in the morning, it felt pleasant to say the least.
They'd always play that song whenever a hurricane hits the US.
This would have been Sally, if the cold front was already in the panhandle
No internet either!! Believe me it was not fun at all!!
Anyone see Wilma lol
I'm gonna guess that you are a Scorpio
May I receive permission to use this video in a project? (I'll give you credit)

Dj0287 A short movie about a fictional hurricane.
Quirky McQuirky Sure you can use it as long as you give me credit. I'd like to see the movie when it's completed.

Marco Munoz No it wasn't it was 2005. Wilma hit in October 2005.
Can I live Dallas?
no, i live on hartford
wilma isn't even gonna hit new Orleans why is the storm alert music playing
No. She made a direct hit in Florida.
storm alert was national. And I don't live in New Orleans I live in Gulfport.
I am commenting #BringBackDislikes on every unique TH-cam video that I watch for the rest of 2024, regardless of if I actually dislike the video or not. This is video 4508.
