@@triplectwc well, here, we somewhat got affected. But my family was in corpus, and it didnt really hit corpus. But all i remember is them saying that the water surge was pretty rowdy and that there was a lot of dead fish washing up 😅 i always wish to experience a hurricane even though it sounds like a dumb / stupid wish lolll. I know we got pretty affected with harvey. Corpus got hit pretty good and here, in the alley, my neighbors had this dog and ( harvey didnt really hit us that hard ) but the winds from harvey knocked down a piece of their fence and their dog was in the alley lmaooo. And me being the dog and storm lover i am, i was spending time with the dog in the alley during the winds And also, i got allergies from the storm most likley and i rarely get allergies. Thats how i remember harvey
The IntelliStar has a feature where when switching to its alternate feed channel (in the event of severe weather and that kinda shit), it'll play music in the LF to smoothen the transition.
@@iamtheeverblack That's interesting. I don't know much about these units which is why I am asking all these questions. I was curious how Triple C was able to get the Stephen Arnold Storm Alert music inserted into the forecast. Because the unit is receiving a cable/satellite feed (I can see the video playing in the top row of pixels at the top of the screen) so I don't think that music is coming from TWC. I could be wrong.
I am commenting #BringBackDislikes on every unique TH-cam video that I watch for the rest of 2024, regardless of if I actually dislike the video or not. This is video 4961.
I’ll consider it if you happen to have an original IS1 clip from that area. I have another project and college work going on so I’ll need original footage
@@triplectwcI know this is three years late, but you’re basically saying that this was the actual forecast? How come everybody else has the crappy new local on the 8s?
Apologies for the delay! More footage from Laura coming this week
Went through laura in SATX and wish i were to see this instead of the weird new local on the 8’s. My life is officialy complete thank you lol
you’re welcome! how’d that area hold up during the storm?

I love the storm alert music from 2005!
How do you get the music inserted into the forecast? A Raspberry Pi? It’s my understanding that the unit itself didn’t house the music tracks.

@@triplectwc Oh, that's really cool.
Do you know where you got this version of the storm alert music?

I would like a video like this for Mandeville, LA during Hurricane Sally. How do I get an intellistar unit?

How did you manage to get access to a whole bunch of Allen Jackson narrations
This is the real thing
lmao frank

@@WiiLoveWeather7-12-16 I have an actual IntelliStar unit that has the older graphics! It can still take in new data, so that’s what’s happening here.
