Paddy shouting at Aaron over exposing Robert’s affair is like Hitler preaching to Switzerland over civil rights. Perhaps he hated it because Paddy had an affair too.
Robert threatened to kill Leo, who was Paddy's stepson at the time. He didn't want Robert flying off the handle and Aaron just gave Robert a good reason to do so by outing him in front of everyone.
I love this story line, but here is the problem I have, Robert shot Paddy, Paddy has a gunshot wound! There is a bullet somewhere in a wall in the lodge Traces of gunpowder would be in the room Even if it had been cleaned up somewhat, there is DNA evidence at the lodge (both from Aaron and Paddy. Aaron was tied up, when tied up against your will, it will leave distincitive marks on the body (again, forensics!) If they wanted to take Robert down, they should have gone to the police and the forensic evidence would have backed up Aaron's and Paddys story beyond reasonable doubt AND Aaron would NOT have been put in prison over the Katie issue, because if that came out, Robert would be up on a Murder charge AND attempted Murder charge and make it even 10 times worse for himself just to get Aaron in prision as well- that is risky, he could have argued it was GBH rather than attempted murder but if Katie's murder came out the police would def look at both of the those incidents more harshly
Aaron is an accessory to manslaughter a serious offense he cleared the crime scene. Aaron is trying to save his own ass here too. Although I do agree unrealistic about paddy and the gun shot wound he should be in hospital.

To be manslaughter they would have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Robert knew the floor was likely to give way (he didn’t) making his actions reckless in endangering life. What he was guilty of was common assault and false imprisonment, not even ABH/GBH because he pushed her in a room with a a relatively soft wooden floor. He didn’t hit her, use a weapon etc He was so desperate who knows what would have happened if the floor hadn’t given way? That caused Katie’s death but probably saved him from committing a worse crime it would have been almost impossible to redeem him from The irony is he would have been unlikely to even face prison for it if he owned up right away, and there was no evidence of the assault anyway so would probably not have been prosecuted unless he confessed What he and Aaron were both actually guilty of were two serious offences Perverting the Course of Justice and Preventing Lawful Burial for not reporting her death Both equally guilty, both of the crimes carrying potentially long prison sentences especially for Aaron who was already on a very lenient suspended sentence for the same thing - Perverting the Course of Justice So it’s true they would have both gone to prison, and Aaron would have served more time for Katie than Robert The only thing Robert would have served any serious time for would have been for firearms offences, false imprisonment and assault at the Lodge, but is unlikely to have been prosecuted due to lack of evidence over the grain pit

Plus Robert almost killed him twice in an attempt to keep the affair secret. Why wouldn't Paddy be freaked out and angry at Aaron for exposing the secret?

Year fat gone by.. now 2019 Robert and Aaron are happily married couple, talking about surrogacy they want having thier baby Chrissie and Lawrence are dead, Lachlan is in the prison, Rebecca had a brain damage because of the accident but sadly she got Seb and run away with Ross Paddy and Chas end up to each others arm and become real parents to Aaron, thier first child Grace sadly died and now expecting a second baby Liv and Victoria are have messed up lovelives, Liv is now dealing with her cheating ex-boyfriend Jacob and slept with Maya David's girlfriend and Victoria is troeing herself to other men to covering up her feeling since Adam run away and heard the news Adam is seeing someone new Rhona is now in the relationship with Pete Barton since she broke with Paddy and I don't have idea who's caring of Leo
She's most likely just angry that he was seeing someone (in this case Aaron) behind her back and conscidering that the word bisexual never appears in soaps -.- (even though Ryan has stated that Robert is in fact bisexual) she probably thinks that all they had was a lie and that he is gay. She is not homophobic though, she was being really nice to Finn when he was over at their house, so thats not the issue here :)
