We go to Asia mainly in winter, because its warm there. Its also pretty affordable and europeans like to see other cultures. In Summer most europeans spending their vacations in europe.
I never did cliff diving (more like cliff jumping when you get feet first into water) but I probably made more than 5000 jumps from 5 to 10 meters high diving boards since age 8 (since I learned to swim) and my "worst" injury was getting my foot soles a bit reddish because i jumped more than a hundred times in one afternoon and being a bit careless on pointy feet. If you're taking very basic safety measures (pointy feet, legs and arms aligned with the body when you're jumping, front diving needs more technique to protect your neck and belly) you can even jump backwads or running and whirling if you don't have balance issues or being scared of height, both are a blatant no-no. And if you're wondering why Europeans go to SE Asia its because it's also beautiful and its own way and discovering new lifestyle, architecture, languages and cultures is always enthralling. For instance and aside cost of food and accomodations, lots of French people prefer to go to Indonesia, The Philippines or Thailand instead of going in French territories like Guyane, Reunion island, French Polynesia, New Caledoniai or French Carribean. In French, Jersey and Guernesey islands are called "îles anglo-normandes" to underline the fact these islands belonged to the English crown (William the conqueror/Guillaume le conquérant Normand dynasty) and being a part of the Normandy duchy beforehand so it's mostly the only remnant or vestige (French word BTW!) of this duchy because Normandy region became a part of the French kingdom after the 100 years war) 500 years before Great Britain became a nation. These islands are considered states mostly distinct from the UK and are still under direct control of the royal crown.
I assure you the water of Lac de Sainte Croix and the river Verdon (making it Les Gorges du Verdon) is as turquoise as it is in this vid. Although it may vary due to sunlight differences throughout the year or the amount of meltingwater. it always has an amazing complexion due to fluoride and micro-algae.
hello from France 🇫🇷, France is beautiful and if you want to see one of the greatest treasures in the world, react to "A day at Versailles" from the Château de Versailles channel. All princesses deserve their palace 🌹😉
There are legions of places in the world that are absolutely breathtaking and many countries that could compete for being among the 10 most beautiful, such as Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, New Zealand, South Africa or several countries in Indo-China like Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Myanmar and not to forget Canada & the US. But no country could compete with France for the number 1 spot imo, no country has the diversity in landscapes and culture as France. And all that in a country the size of Texas! Well smaller even cause you'd still have room left to fit in Switzerland or the Netherlands as a bonus. PS: I'm Dutch so I'm not saying this out of patriotism or nationalism.
You must understand that France doubles it's population with tourisme that means that those places are over crowed all summer long that's why we also like to travel away from France to find cooler people to meet.

Guernesey and Jersey are english, with a french normandy heritage. It’s complicated (and funny).

By the way France is the most visited country in the world
