Old video new question… manual says cartridge is replaceable… NOTHING online to verify. Can the cartridge be swapped on the stock tone arm? And cartridge suggestions?
I've been trying to record from the USB into my daw (Ableton) but it only shows up as an output, how can I record from USB into my daw? Or do I have to go from the audio out?
Another question, in DVS, do the Stanton STX crossfaders work when they are plugged into your table? Because me on my rev 7, I can't use the STX crossfader because it pauses the track! Oblige to use that of the controller, a bit of a shame
So there is only one volume knob? So you can't imagine using that at gigs, because it doesn't have a "master mute" or something similar, so you could only hear yourself through headphones? Otherwise, a great and impressive portable turntable but, I think this would need a separate volume knob for headphones..
I have one more Question, 'I had a mixfader for my numark pt1 scratch, a 'dvs' fader and ap working with serato vinyl, this was all okey, but to mush wires... the mixfader worked with bluetooth to your I-phone. the I-phone had to connect with a cable to you pt01 the output of your phone would make the sound to your extra speaker, so it was cables, and not compact and easy to just take out and start playing, my Question on this device now is, 'is there a possibility like connecting your phone with the serato and a serato vinyl dvs and just use the turntable on its own ? like you have just your phone, your turntabel and a dvs record... and play...
wow a rare follow up to a video so quick.. must have been very popular ! - looks tasty but they will probably be $500 by the time I get around to going to purchase one (due to online hype) .... so i would just buy a used 1200MK instead lol
At that point you may as well jsut grab an Omni. That's what I will do. Was hoping these would kinda be Omni killers but... Idk, they're still cool tho.
@@sgtcreasegrease I mean, it sorta is an Omni killer (if you don't mind the larger form factor). I just bought an Omni for $400 and feel like I wasted $150.
@@nilespeshay1734 You think so? Isn't the cart that it comes with all you can use? Can't unplug it and plug in your own? No USB C DVS support with mobile apps etc...
@@sgtcreasegrease I agree, Omni is still ahead. I have a modified Numark and can still play 12in. Strange that there's not many videos on the Omni. Cheers
Wow you are able to do so much with the Stanton STX great review Cleveland Terry 👊
I absolutely love this thing,
Have you tried pairing one of these with a prime go? Seems like it'd be a fun combo
Dude imagine if the prime go had dvs software standalone to pair with a portablism table
I want to get this. Staton is coming back about damn time
…thanks for the video. When using Djay with the control vinyl, can you use the inno fader on the STX to cut? Or do you have to use an external mixer?
Wow 👌 really expanded my mind with ideas for a set up with a portable turntable
Can I ask I play mainly house music and using serato and phase will the Stanton be ok for longer mixes pitch bend etc?

What about the pitch functionality while djaying using it with serato ?
Works just like you’d expect
🔥I’m on these asap, perfect mobile setup
what did you plug in to your ipad when you used dvs
and do you have to use an external mixer?
Yes The mixer is shown…plug is usb b to usb c

The only thing I used them with was a s5 and they worked fine.

I guess you'd need to have a portable mixer
Can you replace the fader in the stanton STX with a rane mag four crossfader?
Why in the world would you want to? IMHO, the innofader is better

Nope gotta use djay

CB4 wasn't that Chris Rock breakout role?
I don’t know about breakout but I definitely laughed my ass off on the movie.
I'd say it was his Cameo in "Im gonna git you sucka" that gave him his break into movies
