To be Honest, Cosplayers can do WAY Better portrayals than any of the Actors in Hollywood. And besides, there's always Fan-Films on the Internet (especially on TH-cam) that can do a better Job than Hollywood.
@Unbridled Instinct The Tekken Movie did got some of the Character Likenesses and Designs from the Games, but the Plot and Story were Complete Garbage. Edit: There's this "Tekken: Tag Tournament 2" Live Action short Film on the "Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe" YT Channel and it's really Awesome, there's also a "Street Fighter X Tekken: The Devil Within" short Film and it's also pretty Amazing.
The fact a quick google search of a Korean knock off live action called Fight for Victory, Son Goku is the most faithful(yet kind of of off putting at the same time lol) baffles me.
The first live-action Guyver movie (which by the way was titled "Mutronics" over here in the UK) was pretty bad, mainly because they tried to force comedy into it. To be fair the Guyver suit looked great. The sequel, "Guyver: Dark Hero" was a vast improvement (except that Mizuki was written out). No misplaced comedy and the fight scenes were incredible. Plus the theme music alone is worth the price of admission. I highly recommend it.
Tbh I don’t need my Goku to be Asian. I don’t think there’s to many people who give off the actual Goku look that’s Asian. I think mixed with Asian would be able to pull it off though, acting skills and size wise should be on point to make a solid Goku.
2:15 is the best point ever imo concerning why movies based off video games tend to flop. If no one ever played Double Dragon at all, it'd probably do very well. Heck, maybe it would make a successful video game like some of the Marvel games that came out in the 2000s.

Even as a kid i knew Evolution was trash. If a very young and dumb kid with low standards think that a movie is bad, then you know its hot garbage lol. Obviously DB evolution is blasphemy every character is wrong bottom tier, Tekken live action was garbage too almost evolution tier trash now The Motion Picture anime is brilliant!! KOF live action is as much of an atrocity everyone Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui, Rugal Bernstein, Terry Bogard were all done terrible but KOF Destiny CGI Anime is justice done rite for the SNK fans true in heart and its sequel Awaken looks AMAZING!! The DOA looks like trash too I never watched live action KOF or DOA looking at the trailers and cover art tells me all I need to know.
