High Mileage oil it really doesn’t matter what brand. In my truck I use 5W-30 Valvoline Full Synthetic. Also try to find an oil that has Dexos in it that is what GM recommends. It’ll say Dexos on the bottle. I honestly don’t know what Dexos is or what it does that’s just what GM recommends. Thank you for watching!

"Dexos 1" is what you need. I use Amsoil and a Wix 57060XP synthetic oil filter on my 2012 Sierra Denali 6.2L. So far, I just rolled 155,000 miles.
