After David left the Temps, I didn't follow his career much at all. Now I see that I have to go back through all of his solo stuff to re-aquaint myself with his amazing voice. Seeing him in concert made a little girl's heart happy. The Temptations are by far my all-time favorite group. My love for them is forever. David was at the Pinnacle of that group. After David left the Temps, I didn't follow his career much at all. Now I see that I have to go back through all of his solo stuff to re-aquaint myself with his amazing voice. Just to look at his face and physique on this performance you can clearly see the damage drug abuse had done to him....but his voice was still AMAZING!!!
This was an incredible performance...David still had the goods. Imagine his career without drugs.

There is and was only one David Ruffin. When God made him he broke the mold. No one sings like him. The sad part is I don't think he knew how awesome he was. Seeing him in concert made a little girl's heart happy. The Temptations are by far my all-time favorite group. My love for them is forever. David was at the Pinnacle of that group. God bless Otis for putting it together. 💯🥰💞
