Felix, you're going in the right direction. YT and google are your friends. Don't be afraid to attempt anything, what's the worst thing that could happen? You might have to call someone for more help. Don't get frustrated, there are some things you would need special skills to do. I don't do much auto motor repair or welding for example or electrical work but you can figure it out or always call someone for a little help. Most skilled people will not criticize you for trying.
I'm so heartbroken for you, Felix. I'll be praying for you. There is a God who is a Father to the fatherless. He created you & knows all your sorrows, trials, & pain. I'll be praying that you will get to know him so that he can he can give you hope for your future & restore the years that were taken from you. Read the book of John in the Bible. ❤🙏

Oh my god, this is so freaking heartwarming what the hell. I can clear my bathtub drain, but i couldnt get this big smile on my face without your video. What an awesome guy!
My Dad died when I was 12, I'm 32 now and I think about him everyday - there's so much I missed and so much basic DIY that I just dont know how to do. I put up a shelf two years ago and I was so proud of myself. Did he really go out and buy that random tool just to show us? This guy is awesome! I'm so lucky to have my own dad teaching me things, but I really never stopped to think about just how much dad really does teach me about ... adulting! Thank you, kind sir! We appreciate you!
I’m 69 years old and my dad died when I was just 11. Now I realize why I’m so inept at home DIY projects. Never too late to get help from a dad! Thanks for lowering my water bill.
My dad was too busy drinking all the time to teach me anything. I don’t know a thing about doing that kind of stuff. Your videos make me feel like someone actually cares about me. It means a lot to me. Thank you!
I could honestly cry right now. I hope a really cool mom follow your lead for those of us who didn't have either parent. This is so heartwarming and pure. Thank you.
I just want you to know how amazing you are, I can just tell you are a genuinely a good person. My father walked out of my life when I was 9, when my mother passed away I was 18 and I saw my dad at her burial, I thought he was there to step in and be the father I always wanted just to find out he was there to take our house away. Fast forward to now, I’m 36 years old and still no dad. 🤷🏼♀️ wish I had been blessed with a father like you.
Your videos and these comments are exactly what the world needs. Thank you for voluntarily taking on a job that men regularly walk out on. Thank you for being everyone’s dad. ❤️
So many people just assume everyone has the same level of support. I had to grow up very independently, but so much I could have learned with good parents. Finally someone gets it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m so glad to see you’re at 66k subscribers in what seems like a month of posting. It’s like 1.30am I’m crying I’ve already almost watched all of your videos since finding your channel on Reddit. Even at the end man when you’re like “You got this” you’re like the zeitgeist of Great Dads. Please keep making more of these videos as many as you can. I don’t even know what to ask you as I’ve taught myself everything but I’m only 27 so there are undoubtedly plenty of battles I’ll have appreciated learning from you first. Like the Toilet, This bathtub and the Oil! You’re the best. Thanks TH-cam Dad. Edit: just in the off chance you read this were you at all influenced by Jordan Peterson? Either way please don’t stop being the good in the world you’re the best.
So thorough! Like, "if this doesn't work, or you don't have this, here's another way" and then going "Oh, and by the way, you'll need this too" This channel is absolutely fantastic.
I´m twenty-one and my dad just abandoned me and my family, I´m "In charge" now, of everyone, and just started renting my own place, Thank You so much, from the bottom of my heart. You´re my internet dad (if it´s okay with you) so I can be my family´s "real life" dad.
Just found out about this channel on FB and just wanted to say as a regular young man from the ghetto I wanna say a lot of people needed this channel. To many walk out on they kids and it’s great to see something like this. God bless you and the family
This is just what I needed! I haven't seen my dad in 7 years and I normally would ask him about stuff like this but this is the next best thing. Thank you for being here.
Wish this channel existed when I was growing up. In my mid 20s now but so glad someone is thinking outside the box. So many kids now with no idea how to do any of this. And it's not their fault. Glad your here to help them.
I have my dad, and I can always call him, but I still had to come to this channel and just express my appreciation, I know a lot of people who can’t talk to their dads for various reasons, and so this just makes me smile. Thank you.
Thank you for thinking of something like this to help people who didn’t get love and advice and guidance growing up. We have a serious problem with children growing up without dads. I wish you tons of blessings in your life.
Hi, my dad passed away 5 years ago this August. I can't tell you how many times since then I have thought to myself, "I wish I could call my dad up to help me with this." Your channel has helped me with so many things that he is no longer here for. I just want to say thank you so much for this channel!! ❤❤❤
My dad suffered a massive brain aneurysm the 1 year I was married. Praise the Lord he survived, but cam back very different. Before, my dad was a farmer and worked dawn to dusk. Now he can't remember what he had for breakfast. Your videos remind me of when he would teach me everything. You are a blessing! God the Father is loving this along with so many of us that miss our dads. Thank you and God bless.
Hi Dad! your channel is awesome . I'm an English student. Thanks to you, I'm learning new vocabulary. Keep it up . In my homeland , we , as children and as adults , ask for our parents' blessing when we see them first in the morning and before bedtime. You reminded me a lot of that . God protect and bless you
My dad i alive and played no part in my up bringing giving advice teaching to do anything giving support or love affection etc. Thank you for this channel.
I was one of the lucky few kids that got adopted, out of the foster system, so I have an amazing dad now. However, I was 15 when I got my dad and I still remember what it's like not having one. I'm already a subscriber but I'm gonna make an effort to watch and like every video so that anyone who wasn't as lucky, gets to keep seeing a positive male role model in their home and their life. Thank you for seeing the need and doing something about it, instead of waiting for someone else to do something. I wish you all the success in the world. 💯❤🥺
Hey :) I found your channel from a post on reddit and I love it. Thank you so much, it feels very nice to have someone explaining all this so good and kind
I saw you on so many posts yesterday and shared you on my stories as well. I just wanted to say how amazing I think your channel is! My Dad is in my life however, we are not close. He’s never been very handy and even if he were, he tends to get incredibly frustrated when I bother him asking for help. At 30 years old I have stopped calling him for advice or help and try to figure these things out on my own. It’s always hurt my heart watching other girls with their Dads, just a part of me being envious of having that kind of relationship. Your page made me smile so hard. It’s helpful but there’s something special about getting that “Dad” advice in general. You have a great heart and I hope you feel how much joy you’ve brought to others with your page! Thank you for being you ❤️
I'm over 3k miles away from my dad, and we aren't close to begin with. I come to your videos for help! Thank you! I couldn't figure it out, and now I successfully unclogged my drain!
Thank you so much! I'm a young lady (age 26) and I have no father... One year ago I moved in my first own home.. Well... I'm so glad for this account I appreciate what you are doing. Thank you from Germany
I've used one of those zip tie looking things at my job whenever a guest manages to gum up their drain (Hotel.) They always want to peer over my shoulder and I have to be like "please don't, you WILL be completely grossed out" lol Sinks drains are not garbage disposals, kids. Don't treat them like one.
My dad passed away 11 years ago but even when he was alive he was never a handy man. Always had to call in the plumber. Thank you for guiding us through things we can fix ourselves. Its saving us so much money. You are wonderful. Keep the videos coming
Now I'm distributing Your channel among my Russian friends! These videos are good for learning American English specially for boys! Thank You! With love from Russia!
This is a great video. My Dad lives, and is a good father, just never was a particular handy man outside of basic automotive stuff (and taught me astronomy, but anyway). So when about 15 years ago my tub got clogged. Paid $150 to watch a plumber remove the topper and pull out a huge clump of hair in 5mins. Other than a needle nose pliers to help pull out the hair clump, no special tools required. Since then, once or twice a year I clean the drain myself. Remove the topper, pull out the clump of hair. Easy. I've even taught my woman to do it (it is mostly her hair afterall). Gonna have to check out the rest of your videos "Dad". :) Subscribed.
I love this so much. My dad died when I was a kid, and I missed out on lots of things you learn from dads. (esp for my mum's generation, things were very stereotypically 'male' and 'female' skills). it really hurt sometimes esp when people mocked you for not knowing something and you think - your Dad taught you that. ( this was pre youtube). You are doing a lovely thing.
I adore this guy. I raised 2 sons on my own who are now in their mid 30’s. I wish you had been around when I needed to teach them. You’re absolutely amazing
You're amazing... your kids are lucky if you have any, there is nothing like a dad teaching you how to change the oil in a car, ride a bike? I didn't have that myself... so seeing this? It's really heart warming..
Glad you are doing this for everyone who needs it. Helping people with your knowledge is better than college education for so many reasons. But you are saving people money and giving everyone a sense that they can do it too. Amazing what can happen. Thanks
Look up the tubshroom! Honestly best purchase I’ve ever made in my life as a long haired gal! It’s pretty affordable and will save u from ever doing this!
I use long nose pliers to get the hair and gunk out. Works really well. I know he uses Lowes, but I comparison shop between there, Home Depot, and Menards. I got my pliers from Menards...cheaper.
Found you in GoodHousekeeping and am so glad I did! You’re a kind soul and we can all feel it - Thank you for these lessons, your encouragement (none of which I ever got from any man in my life)and your patience. You are a great teacher can really feel like “I got this”. THANK YOU💖
Thank you so much for making this TH-cam channel, most of my life my dad has been absent, and my mom chose to do everything and never let any of my siblings or I help, so I don’t know how to do much. My mom died a few years ago and so we live with our dad again. I never was really taught how to do this until I discovered your channel 💖
Hey he has a video on how to check it, but to change it how i do it is i use a jack with some cinderblocks under the car and go under and towards the front half you'll see a little nut, and you want to have something like a deep bucket under this, once you unscrew it oil will start pouring out and when it is totally drained, put the nut back on and tighten it, take out bucket, bring the car back down and add your oil. :) then if you have one use something called a "dipstick" to see how much oil you added if ur not sure how much you need to add. Hope this helps!
Please don't treat the cinder blocks (or ideally, jack stands) as optional, having your jack break while you're under your car is a nasty way to kill yourself. Jacks are made to lift, not to hold. Edit: And make sure you block the wheels you aren't lifting too, for the same reason.
The way he Constantly looks back at the camera feels like he is really trying to make you understand and he cares so much. I got mad Respect for this man right here, i wish i could do more than Like and comment and share, he deserves so much❤️

Thank you!
My Dad was a Master Plumber. He passed away Jan 28 of this yr. Thank you for making this for those of us with no one to call.
Genuinely just learnt about the existance of drain tools I've truly needed in my life for a very long time 😯 Thank you!
🤷🏼♀️ wish I had been blessed with a father like you.
the people who are disliking your videos have no soul, you’re helping me and other children who are growing up without dads
thank you.. ❤️
The world needs about a billion more of you! Not all heroes wear capes 🙌🏼
Your videos and these comments are exactly what the world needs. Thank you for voluntarily taking on a job that men regularly walk out on. Thank you for being everyone’s dad. ❤️
This is so wholesome🥺my fave TH-cam dad!
Thanks for the kind words Abbie. 😊
Me: I can probably just skip the plumber's putty
Dad TH-camr: definitely don't skip the putty
Anyways, thanks for the video!
You are my new hero. I’m divorced with four kids and their dad died two months ago, these are awesome!
Why did I get teary eyed when he said lefty loosey righty tighty 🥺
I have my dad, and I can always call him, but I still had to come to this channel and just express my appreciation, I know a lot of people who can’t talk to their dads for various reasons, and so this just makes me smile. Thank you.
You’re so wholly . I appreciate you for all you do. Wish nothing but blessings to you and your family
Thank you for thinking of something like this to help people who didn’t get love and advice and guidance growing up. We have a serious problem with children growing up without dads. I wish you tons of blessings in your life.
Oh this is just great! 👏🏻 thank you! I have a dad and he just calls “the guy that fixes stuff” so I’m exited to fix stuff on my own! 👊🏻
I like that he's looking back making eye contact with the camera as if he's really talking to us as his son/daughter. Thank you.
I saw this on IG. My dad died ten years ago and I wish I could've asked him how to do alot of these things. I love these videos! Keep it coming!
Hi, my dad passed away 5 years ago this August. I can't tell you how many times since then I have thought to myself, "I wish I could call my dad up to help me with this." Your channel has helped me with so many things that he is no longer here for. I just want to say thank you so much for this channel!! ❤❤❤
"You got this" I absolutely love that ❤
My dad suffered a massive brain aneurysm the 1 year I was married.
"You got this!"
Thank you! 😊
Hi Dad! your channel is awesome . I'm an English student. Thanks to you, I'm learning new vocabulary. Keep it up . In my homeland , we , as children and as adults , ask for our parents' blessing when we see them first in the morning and before bedtime. You reminded me a lot of that . God protect and bless you
You’re now my third dad. My dads in heaven, my step dad is still my hero, but you’re my third dad now.
I'm 47 and your my dad too. I was foster child, no one ever taught me these dad things. Thank you.
“Leftie loosey, righty tighty”. This is so adorable, thank you.
My dad i alive and played no part in my up bringing giving advice teaching to do anything giving support or love affection etc. Thank you for this channel.
You know, I never had a dad. My deadbeat dad has never been in my life and i'm 25. Thanks for being there more than he ever was. o7
Thank you for being you ❤️
Thanks, Dad. My own dad would never show me how to do this without berating me about it first.
I'm 57 learning different things to fix as a lady.my dad couldn't fix stuff.so thank you for being so kind when explaining stuff.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! My dad isn’t around and I live alone with a disability but I’m very independent 😊 but I need help with this thank you
I'm over 3k miles away from my dad, and we aren't close to begin with. I come to your videos for help! Thank you! I couldn't figure it out, and now I successfully unclogged my drain!
I JUST SAW THIS THANK YOUUUU
Drano just wasnt cutting it. I appreciate you
Thank you so much! I'm a young lady (age 26) and I have no father... One year ago I moved in my first own home.. Well... I'm so glad for this account I appreciate what you are doing. Thank you from Germany
I've used one of those zip tie looking things at my job whenever a guest manages to gum up their drain (Hotel.) They always want to peer over my shoulder and I have to be like "please don't, you WILL be completely grossed out" lol
Sinks drains are not garbage disposals, kids. Don't treat them like one.
My dad passed away 11 years ago but even when he was alive he was never a handy man. Always had to call in the plumber. Thank you for guiding us through things we can fix ourselves. Its saving us so much money. You are wonderful. Keep the videos coming
The 55 who disliked this, get outta here. This man will BE the next legend!!
Now I'm distributing Your channel among my Russian friends! These videos are good for learning American English specially for boys! Thank You! With love from Russia!
The "you got this" at the end i wonder if he knows the simple stuff he does rrly means alot to some of us💀
Thank you thank you thank you. Everyone keeps telling me to call a plumber but I knew I could do it myself!!! Thanks to you Dad now I can!!!
"Lefty loosy righty tighty" 😭 now I wont have to second guess
One of the most wholesome channels on you tube. Bless you. X
This is such a cool channel! The content is well explained and you seem so nice!!
Thanks Dawn. 👍
Thank you for making these, my parents never taught me anything haha
Thank you for this - I had no idea it would be this easy & cost just a few bucks. And now I know how to do this regularly….
You are Reddit’s and Facebook’s official dad
I love this so much. My dad died when I was a kid, and I missed out on lots of things you learn from dads. (esp for my mum's generation, things were very stereotypically 'male' and 'female' skills). it really hurt sometimes esp when people mocked you for not knowing something and you think - your Dad taught you that. ( this was pre youtube). You are doing a lovely thing.
I learned it the other way around- "righty tighty, lefty loosey"
I adore this guy. I raised 2 sons on my own who are now in their mid 30’s. I wish you had been around when I needed to teach them. You’re absolutely amazing
Dad, how do I build a fenced garden? Like any kind, because I’m STRUGGLING.
You're amazing... your kids are lucky if you have any, there is nothing like a dad teaching you how to change the oil in a car, ride a bike? I didn't have that myself... so seeing this? It's really heart warming..
These are amazing, thank you!
Thanks Carissa. 👍
Glad you are doing this for everyone who needs it. Helping people with your knowledge is better than college education for so many reasons. But you are saving people money and giving everyone a sense that they can do it too. Amazing what can happen. Thanks
I use a chopstick and drag out terrifying chunks of my hair LOL yikes.
I've actually used tweezers. I've found that the thinness helps for getting the hair off the cross-hairs.
@@CallMeAlice818 relatable hehe I've always made it work my style
THANK YOU💖
How do you clean a carpet after it floods from the bathroom
Thank you so much for making this TH-cam channel, most of my life my dad has been absent, and my mom chose to do everything and never let any of my siblings or I help, so I don’t know how to do much. My mom died a few years ago and so we live with our dad again. I never was really taught how to do this until I discovered your channel 💖
Dad, how do I check and change the oil in my car?
@@rin_okami oh thank you! Thinking about it i see what you mean, i will remove that
I'm 42 years old and just found this channel. This is great, subscribed.
