Overwhelming excess forces a battleshock test, not leadership test. So it's far better considering it can also dish out mortal wounds if the enemy is in shadow

Can't wait to build a bunch of hellflayers for this detachment. They're simple to build right

As befitting Slaanesh, this is excessively powerful.

The detachment rule alone feels absolutely broken and op

How is this "broken and OP"? It looks okay.

@@dras-pv8qv one of the game's most potent rule combinations is re-rolls to wound + devastating wounds. And as it turns out, almost every Slaanesh unit has Dev Wounds on some or all of their melee attacks

@@robertjones4867I get using this on Shalaxi or KoS. But if you give up your FF on the charge the potential loss of unit size from the opponent fighting first won't be made up from rerolls. And if you're charging something that's unlikely to be a threat in melee you would eliminate that most likely even without rerolls. Even on a KoS is it really worth it? All the damage you would do first might eliminate a unit to begin with, or mitigate their output so much you don't care.
On paper it looks great, but I don't see where the math works out. Something broken or OP should, in my mind, be strong in nearly every situation. This just isn't

@@robertjones4867 i mean in what situation does it make sense to give an opponent the opportunity to maximize their damage through attacks/strats etc first? Maybe if you have the Masque nearby. But that's a hoop to jump through

@@dras-pv8qv Three very obvious situations: 1. Any time you're going into a unit that won't hit you that hard, but is tough to deal with. Think tanks here primarily - Rogal Dorns are very tough to destroy without re-rolls but can't hit you at all - and they *need* to be destroyed as quickly as possible, but units like Thunderwolf Cavalry might also fall into this category, as they don't get +1 damage on the charge. 2. Any time you use Heroic Intervention, completing a charge move but without gaining fights first, making this ability free to activate. 3. Any time you can shunt the wounds you take off onto another unit using the Thief of Pain Stratagem
