Please Don't Go - Joel Adams (Madoka MMV)

Decided to use the manga this time around. Only problem is that I had to manually get rid of the words and clean up any images that were in poor quality. if you see any words, then that means they're essential to the AMV and are meant to emphasize what Homura is feeling.
Overall, this video was just about Homura desperately clinging to Madoka to the point of self-deprecation. All those tears and pain amounted to Homura right back where she started, just worse. Poor girl.

Mares: This one was really well done, the song just resonates with Homura's emotions!
I found it really cool that you exclusively used the first manga all the way to Rebellion, yet your transitions and scene choices had such great flow to them. Showing Homura's thoughts and words was also a really nice touch, it emphasized the whole experience while watching.
I totally understand that issue of manually getting rid of words and cleaning up images. I have several edited pages saved from previous projects over the years for easier access on my hard drive for next time. XD
Sometimes if I wanna get a full picture and I'm feeling really ambitious, it's a challenge, but I'll try and recreate parts that have been covered by word bubbles, like the other half of a chair design or a checkerboard floor. It's hit or miss if I manage to make it look good, though.

Happy Thanksgiving! I appreciate the analysis as always. I definitely have to get better at editing manga images, because that was the most time consuming part of the video, not the editing. But I'm glad it turned out ok!

Have to confess that I indeed use both. The source I downloaded the manga from used both, so I just figured why not 😂 But anyway, yes, it was quite a chore to clean up and make higher quality, but I'm pleased with the results and so is my audience, so that's all that matters. Also, it's nice to see you again dude 🎉
