The Culmination of Grief 《Homura Akemi's Despair》

To grief deeply means to have loved fully.
What would you do to protect a loved one? How far would you go to save the people you care about?
I'm of the opinion that Homura had the best intentions for Madoka. Madoka's friendship means everything to her and for good reason.
Madoka's sacrifice, while admirable, should not have occurred. A 14-year-old should eat breakfast with her family and enjoy growing up, not destroy herself for the sake of others.
Self sacrifice is not inherently good. Madoka's life and happiness should be preserved for as long as possible until she becomes an adult and is able to make fully thought through choices.
