The fact that there are people out there who willingly listen to basically Tutorial filler shows just how well written and acted MGS3 Really is. I mean thing about it how many games can you name were you listend to the 3h of tutorial.
Zero: Snake, I have been wondering for a while now. Something that seems off about you Snake: Well, what is it? Zero: Well we, the support team, have been talking to you for 3 hours, telling you how to be a soldier. Snake: And...? Zero: We have been on operation with each other before, and I, let alone the entire support team, have been telling you things you have already known. Snake: ... Zero: Are you alright Snake? * FLASHBACK * Game: What is your favorite MGS game? Player: I have never played an MGS game before Snake: Yeah, I’m fine.
2 years late, but they know how dumb people can be... look at “game journalists” struggling to do even simple tasks. No clue why developers stopped extreme handholding at the beginning, because it’s obviously needed for some people.
33:00 this one is the most interesting one, this was possible to do in the first 2 MGS games but there's no mention of this mechanic and was probably a developer oversight. Right here is where they fully acknowledge it and embrace players to use it fully as well as telling players who call codecs enough a very advance tech.
Ironically, Snake Eater's Fox team is the best team in the series to advise on boss battles and keep them up to finale. In Solid and Sons of Liberty, most of the team could not be contacted because of the breakdown of the team. In Guns of Patriots, you can only contact Otacon and Rose, and they can't give you all the help you need. They don't even know how to deal with Vamp, they just beg Snake to beat him.
33:47 20 years passed and i tought that the quick reload was a "glitch" in a way to make things faster but its actually a feature in MGS 3?! Damn Kojima 😂
Damn good game...Makes me want to play it again, being a new Nintendo switch owner and playing about 50 hours of BOTW it really actually reminds me a lot of this classic and would love to see the rumored remake take influences from BOTW
You should totally make a poison only mgs3 game play, where you collect poisonous snakes and only using poisonous snakes on bosses and enemies, though it sounds like it won't work on volgin maybe.
Can someone please for the love of god tell me when the game teaches you about CQC?! I know it's a thing in the game and the game has even mentioned it in the beginning but it hasn't as of yet told me how to do it! Am I just supposed to guess how to do it?? Or does the game tell me later in?
It’s sooo easy to accidentally slit the enemy’s throat instead of interrogating him. You have to “lightly press” the button which I always had a problem doing…😁
i remember back when i got mgs3 i didnt find the action button and stood there for 10 minutes pressing EVERY GODDAMN BUTTON except triangle. is a good game tho
@@siriusunknowncicerone6590 This video is only the TUTORIAL Codec calls. There is another hour and 45 of non-story calls, and I don't know how many of the story critical ones.
Hey gs, mgsv pp related, how do you get more pf score for example extracting, killing etc? I've seen people get 200+ for a single extraction whereas i get 1 or 2?
Frenzy It is entirely based on the opposing FOB platforms’ level and your own character’s skill level. If you choose a low skill character, it gives a 2x bonus to points, down to Snake’s 1x, and all the way up to something around .5x for the absolute best units. Anyhow, infiltrate a lvl ~50 platform as Snake and it should bring the takedown and fulton bonus to around 150 or so.
It would it be a real problem making an entire list of a massive number of codec calls in one long comment due this extremelly extended video. It would take like 8 hours or less or more. #DeathBySchoolHouse - Minecraft School

IIRC the MGS1 manual talked about tactical reloads. Or maybe it was the MGS1 VR missions manual. I don't remember which.
