But Medicosis, if in Respiratory Acidosis both H+ and HCO3- goes up. Then how come we get Acidosis, should the H+ and HCO3- increase balance each other to have a normal pH?
Since both H+ and HCO3- increase, it causes acidosis because when they combine they form Carbonic acid (H2CO3) which is an acid and therefore acidosis occurs. It is when one ion increases and the other decreases that can cause alkalosis. for respiratory alkalosis, it will only happen when C02 goes down, when that happens the equation will be shifted towards making more C02 to overcome the stress ( Le Chatlier's Principle). then H+ goes down and pH goes down, HENCE ALKALOSIS! Do you get it brother?
Ethanol (Ethyl alcohol) is metabolized to Acetic Acid (which is in acid added to your system). Is this the lungs’ 🫁 fault? No! Therefore, it’s metabolic. Does that make sense?
Question about lactic acid. If an athlete were to be on a higher O2 percentage, like 100% or whatever is healthy and safe, would they have less lactic acid? Lactic acid is that muscle soreness, right? I'm just wondering if that's a solution to lower muscle soreness I guess.

Waiting for ur next GREAT video !! Thank u
Still a qst 😅 why overdrinking causes a metabolic acidosis ?

Great explanation❤️👍
Glad it was helpful!
Good explanation ,, continue plz 👍🏻
Thank you 🙏
Thank you 😘
My pleasure 😇
Good explaination
Thank you ♥
My pleasure 😇
I don’t get what you mean by shifts to the left or right. Can you please explain further? Thanks! Otherwise explained really well thanks
The shifting happens to reach equilibrium = Le Chatalier's principle
Big like
Sir is NaOH acid or base......listen video at...5:30
NaOH is a base.

Thank you ☺️
But Medicosis, how does the body sense the change in dissolved CO2? Is the sensor in the lungs or in the brain?
You have chemoreceptors in the brain as well as the carotid artery.
💯💯💯
Thanks 😊
The way you breathe😅
