When you think about it a factory spec E49 Charger would scare the pants off a factory spec 426 Hemi Cuda , it would be right up its clacker scaring the hell out of it .
Thanks for coming out guys. Can’t wait to get one or both of you fellas into this new classic class we are trying to form for the Auckland Car Club meetings. In the words of the late great Possum Bourne “it’s the best fun you can have with your pants on” Keep up the great work Mike Vitali. So glad someone has taken up the VH Valiant Pacer cause! your doing a great job mate 🤙🏻
I still remember them brand new , even the coppers had them as Highway Patrol cars in NSW . The e49 had the four speed and the others had the 3 speed , is that right ? Triple Webber's tuned for the car in Italy before manufacturing began , they were sick family hotrods by the top three back in the good old days . ❤ Love the E49 mate , kick arse .
Charger looks fantastic. If memory serves me correctly, a friend had one with a slant 265, 6 cylinder engine and it used to get along pretty well indeed.
How about a E38 scoop but not fake with some holes drilled in the bonnet to let more cool air in . CM control arms have the extra support and strength . Also CMs have quite a bigger front sway bar . Sorted out many brand X V8 with my 265 Mopars no worries 👍🏻🇦🇺✌️.
@@AntR711 Thanks Ant! For those watching these videos and was the previous owner of this beautiful VH Pacer. In New Zealand once you do a transaction like that you become friends forever. He did a great job of looking after it the testament to his character. I’ll add a link in the bio, have a look to follow the two Pacers and stunning Charger he owns. Yeow
Just checked out the link to the video on your cars. How is that vg pacer coming along. Had a VG when i was younger, love one again. For now im in an HR. Ill be keeping an ey out for your cars around Papamoa!
V8 torsion bars, biggest sway bar you can fit, and good shocks.
I fitted a 32mm one to my charger
@@jamesmclachlan4938 nice tip
Koni units for max results, I use KYB due to being a tightarse M.O.P.A.R guy.... Mostly Old Parts And Rust
I have the same suspension set up with rack and pinion works well!!

Yes I have 32mm up front on my CM and a 16mm in the rear. Big difference
Definitely an improvement over factory sway bars.
I did the same on the Pacer. Much better. What shocks do you use?
@@VHValiantPacer I’m just running Monroe’s. Good enough for street use. Much better than the worn out ones that were on it when I bought it
Hey Charger ✌️
✌🏼
Haha, actually remember that slogan 👍
Cool car the E49, oi oi oi
oi - oi - oi
If it was not for the Bogan image these cars have I would own one.
