Just bought a 2004 Grand Prix GTP Comp G with 94,000 miles.
It had been sitting for 3 years before I bought it. The radiator is leaking now, looks like I’ve gotta do this job this weekend. New hoses and thermostat (180 degree) while I’m at it. Then a right rear hub bearing the same day, and a oil level sensor too (easy).
Thanks for the video. Only think I’m not looking forward to are those damn transmission line clips. I’ve never liked those things!!

How did you separate the radiator from the condenser? I can't move the condenser upward even while prying on the clip. Wouldn't you need to do both upper and lower clips at the same time?

    • @AnythingAuto

yes, separate one side then try your best to keep them up and out of the way so they do not lock back in place while doing the other side. as i said in the video its the hardest part of the job. i have done another one recently and same issue

This was very helpful, thanks! Just a couple notes for anyone with an 02 Grand Prix Gt. On that one you actually don't need to remove the two wire harness' from the fan motors or the plastic clippies holding on the harness', you just need to remove the top center(blue with the white safety clip) electrical connection, and all of it comes out perfectly with the fan. It also doesn't have the annoying useless clips connecting it to the a/c condenser. Check and see if you need new transmission coolant lines beforehand, mine were super rusty. Lastly, when your about to be finished, don't drop one of your mount bolts down into the bumper and scrape up your hand trying to get it like a giant idiot, they sell replacements at Ace hardware for three quarters.
