You definitely have a problem , probably fuel mixture is off (jetting in carb). You can hear it doesn't sound right at full throttle. If you backed off the throttle it might do better.
Something's really wrong, that thing would be able to spin twice as fast. Make sure your throttle is fully opening, mess with jets in the carb and see if it changes anything, just go over and check everything to make sure you're making full power. 40:1 will make you more power than 20:1 so it isn't that. my 79cc 4 stroke does 38+, you should be able to get that out of your engine too.

So I just bought 100cc two-stroke motor kit and I can't seem to find on Google what the top speed is so what am I expecting stock as top speed? Because I bought a 50cc last time and it would go 25 mph

Some of these engines have absolutely horrible port timing and huge squish gaps. @@Drive315 the rules of the road go with bicyclist also bicyclists should ride with traffic so they can obey the laws of the road I think you're passing the wrong message through their buddy
S*** man and I was worried I was doing bad at45 km an hour sometimes hitting 50 km an hour and I thought crap man there's something wrong is not topping out like it should. But I did the math and 24 mph is exactly 38.62456 km per hour. So I guess I'm doing pretty good when I hit 45 km an hour easily on flat ground and then if I hold on the throttle long enough I'll usually get to 48 to 50 km an hour hit a little downhill slope and she'll start doing approximately51 to 52 km an hour if I'm already moving along at Full Throttle when I hit the downward slope. And that's all Factory Motor except for a little bit of modification I did to the air box also I replaced that cheap crappy factory zc plug for the appropriate NGK replacement I noticed the big difference from that. So after watching this video I'm not as concerned that my motor isn't running like it should if anything is probably running great. So thank you for making this video. Now I'm going to eventually Port the exhaust and intake ports and polish them. I'm not going to bother with the performance carb because these Factory carburetors are actually pretty good minus the crappy air box that's attached to them. I purposely drilled a few holes in that sucker to give it a little bit more breathing space. But those aftermarket carbs all you're doing is playing around with jets until you get the right air fuel ratio which chances are your factory carburetor is already putting out the extra horsepower, if you gain any, would likely be more due to the fact that it has a cone filter on it and it can breathe better. I plan on just buying the cone filter and hacking the factory air box to accept the cone filter. I happen to think that my Factory carb on my china doll is probably running as good as any aftermarket carburetor would especially once a good air filter is put on it. So for performance I plan on doing the exhaust, putting a performance CDI on it maybe upgrading the Magneto, definitely going to get the high compression head, then port and polish the intake and exhaust ports. That should boost her a little bit aside from that I don't think there's much more that's really worthy of investing money for performance upgrades so the upgrades after that would go into better quality tensioner pulley stuff like that. Just don't be fooled by the marketing gimmicks of these performance carburetors. And you should get a lot more speed out of your bike and if it's still being broken in expected to get a little faster as it breaks in provide it your braking it in properly. Don't bother with that 16 to one ratio neither run 40 to one from the get-go I learned the hard way and burned out the plug pretty quick with a bunch of excess oil all over the brand new block. It's a very excessive oil mixture even for a brand new motor how you drive it it's how you break it in has nothing to do with the oil mixture just make sure you don't lean it out too much 40 to one ratio and you're good to go. I learned a lot from the little bit from working on these bikes just recently and watching lots of videos Etc. It helps and I'm already a certified small engine mechanic
oh yeah I forgot to mention too after a little bit of research it turns out you can buy gearing for this setup. And it basically gives you three speeds low gear mid-range and high gear and you adjust them using your indexer adjuster on The Handlebar. So obviously there's a lot of redundant gears but you get three speeds that way which would definitely increase your top end speed I haven't done this modification yet but I 100% plan on doing it. Heck I even saw one this exact motor, and the guy had a 12 volt system on it with a switch and an electric start as well as gearing and everything. Amazing stuff what you can do with these if you put a little bit of Ingenuity into it
No problem man I love these things. They're becoming very much a passion of mine and a great Hobby. So get this just earlier today I made that comment and said about how I thought I wasn't doing good at my top speed. Well for s**** and giggles I took that factory carburetor and I move the clip up one notch to make the air fuel mixture a little richer just because I had a feeling that it wasn't quite getting its fuel at Full Throttle and sure enough blamo the freaking thing has all kinds of torque now and topped out at 57 km an hour on flat ground. I'm sure if I pushed it a little harder I might even get close to 60. We're talking kilometers an hour here but before I was fighting to get to 45 km an hour now I can get that at 3/4 of a throttle no problem. Amazing what a difference getting that air fuel ratio correct does. This is why I wouldn't bother wasting my money on those performance carburetors because all you're doing is putting jets in until you get that perfect air fuel ratio you can adjust your fuel ratio on these Factory carburetors just like I did today and now the thing flies like a bat out of hell. And all kinds of torque compared to what it used to have with the factory settings as well much more responsive much much more responsive. I could not believe it I figured this is probably going to bog down more and the way it's running is about as good as it's going to get. Fortunately I was wrong I mean flat ground 57 km an hour and I didn't really have to fight to get there I can get the 50 km an hour fairly easily and no problem 45 now. Full Throttle instantly48 km an hour about another second it'll start getting into the 50 km an hour range. That's a lot more than what they advertise anyway everything's Factory on this. I'm happy so for people who are having issues with that I mean I saw people talk about thinking that there's not enough fuel flowing through the peacock and stuff like that let me tell you if you got fuel in your fuel lines you got more than enough fuel flowing through your peacock even for wide open throttle you obviously have a problem elsewhere not sure why some people think that it's all about fuel flow from that peacock you can only put so much fuel to the float Bowl before it has to be adjusted to the correct ratio to go through the carburetor and burn in the motor making the peacock dump fuel harder into the float Bowl isn't really going to do much good or make a difference for that matter. Either way for those who are having issue at mid-range and wide open throttle think about adjusting your carburetor a little bit after you check the obvious stuff. And always check your plug burn and as well make sure it's burning at that correct ratio you want to see a nice caramel color not a light white color, it was really light tan or whitish it's running too lean it is really dark and cruddy is running too rich if it's nice and caramel looking then you got your air fuel ratio as good as you're going to get it. Your plugs are a great air fuel ratio gauge if you know how to look at them and read them. That's why it's always good to have brand new plugs on hand so you can do some plug chopping when you're adjusting your carburetor. Anyway this is all stuff I'm learning about these two stroke motors for bicycles otherwise I am a certified small engine mechanic however I have no experience with these bicycles I'm in a learning curve right now with already having the knowledge of small engines to begin with and understanding how they run and what they require to run Etc. But thanks for your top speed video man it gave me a good Baseline to go by. I would imagine at this point my little 80cc China Doll is probably doing better than most being all Factory. What's the point of adding performance parts if you don't have your carburetor tuned in the first place. Like some people will add a performance exhaust yet they don't have their carburetor tuned to the point that is running at maximum potential anyway what's the point of doing that. Me personally I like to get it running to its maximum potential on all Factory before I go to any performance parts. Now that I got it to that and my Factory Motor is running awesome now it's time to throw a high compression head on it and perhaps a performance exhaust. Either way you really have to know what you're doing if you're going to own one of these and keep them going. This is why I appreciate people who make you TH-cam videos like this whether it's already telling me something I already know or not some people may not and they most definitely don't explain this stuff in the manuals.

oh damn. I'm waiting for an offset intake to get here......now I'm worried i don't think i'm gonna hit 25!!! i'm 19 6'3 and 190lbs....I hope thats not too much for my 2stroke 50cc
Yeah, I don't think you'll be "flying"...
Do we need license to drive?
Coś ci ciężko zapala mój daje od razu, pozdro.
Also spark plug 20 or 25 no more that's gap for 2 cycle motors
Thanks for watching and subscribe! Yes i agree!
Please check out my fitness channel and subscribe too… fitness315
I work with these motors if you're not hitting 30 it's a 49cc not 80cc both motors are identical
So why are you riding on the wrong side of the road?? You as a bike rider should know to ride with traffic... YOUR SETTING ABad Example for Bikers and Bicyclist!!

With a bicycle you should always ride against traffic, so some bozo doesn’t hit you from behind. Thanks for watching and subscribe
@@Drive315 the rules of the road go with bicyclist also bicyclists should ride with traffic so they can obey the laws of the road I think you're passing the wrong message through their buddy

What size back sprocket a 44t ?
Change the rear spocket to a raceing one
Thanks for watching and subscribe, i will most likely end up getting an E-bike. Check out my other toys!
I have both ebike and gas bike that gas bike anit nothing trouble but fun .my gas bikeberry bike gets up to 30 to 37 mph
❤
There's something wrong with that engine it should rev up higher than that bro
I was able to get 32mph with stock 80cc bike kit and 36tooth sprocket
I can pedal faster 😳 what kind of motor is that????
Hey do those 80cc motors hold 300 lb
Thanks for watching and subscribe!
Yes they can hold you
Mph or kmh?
Thanks for watching and subscribe!
This is mph (i will do another video in the spring with this bike)
@@Drive315 🤘🏻
You gotta let the engine warm up
That motor is off balance internally lol
They should be able to cuz if 50cc scooter holds 350
not sure if shorts are ideal clothes for that
25is my guess!!
Thanks for watching! And i just posted that video “top 10 tips for beginner motorcycle riders”
That’s not full throttle
U need a lil bit bigger carb
What is your market place in Montgomery Alabama am I talking the same person you do come from Montgomery Alabama don't you please message me
S*** man and I was worried I was doing bad at45 km an hour sometimes hitting 50 km an hour and I thought crap man there's something wrong is not topping out like it should.
Amazing stuff what you can do with these if you put a little bit of Ingenuity into it
Thanks for watching and subscribe! I dont have this bike anymore but it was pretty fun. I might get an electric bike stay tuned!
Running too lean... check carburetor adjusting on UTub.
Didn't even powerband 😂
Once broken in it will go
Thanks for watching and subscribe! If im honest, the gas oil mix wasnt on point, it’s supposed to be 20:1 mix but in the video i had 40:1 mix
@@Drive315 trust me don't change the fule mix it will go even slower lol
How are you not boggoring
Definitely not running right, it sounds like she's bogging out and taking so long to start and dying is definitely a problem
Thanks for watching and subscribe! I think the gas mix wasn’t right… i had 40:1 mix but it should be 20:1 mix. I will do another video like this again in the spring
Those go over 35mph easily, you're engine definitely not running rite.
Thanks for watching and subscribe!
When I recorded this video i dont think my fuel was mixed right, i ran it on 40:1 gas oil mix but it should be 20:1 mix.
I will redo the video in the spring
That’s way to low that will ruin the engine. Is it broken in cause I run mine 32-1
im guess maybe top speed off 55mph
I don't care how stupid i look im wearing a helmet
My guess is 39mph
