I usually never comment. I've always been a secret watcher for YEARS! I started freshman year of highschool and I am now a senior in college. I had my daughter my sophomore year and she has been with me on the rest of my college journey since. Going to classes, studying with me in the library, going to campus events, etc. Watching this video, specifically you talking about Amiyah on the couch and you guys reliving those memories together bursted me in tears. Because your reality 15-14 years ago is mine today. IM SOOO EXCITED to see us exploring my college in 15 years when baby is searching for her school and feeling the emotions you have during the video. All love and enjoy your college tours amiyah!!

I'm loving these college videos. Takes me back.
By the way, if Amyah comes to Korea and goes to Yonsei Underwood, I am more than happy to assist her. I did an exchange program at the main campus and met up with many a friend that was studying there. I have also been in Korea for over 9 years. My Korean is an intermediate level on good days, I have a car, and a kiddo. So I am sure that I would be helpful. There is also a church on the campus though I stopped going to that one. I tend to visit churches on holidays and through the rest of the year I join Steven Furtick with Elevation Church online.

@@user-3aa6234fh I’m just seeing this, I imagine it would be but I was there with 25+ other classmates who looked like me so I would say I had it easy. I do think it’s easy to find foreigners though because there are usually a lot of events that you can network in. Clubs are a good place to meet foreigners as well. You would find a lot of foreign teachers there as well. The Chinese people can be receptive but on the other hand, you have a bigger advantage if you speak Chinese and you’ll probably get a lot of stares and pictures taken of you… the racism is subtle but most have literally never met black people before.
I liked shopping, cycling and just the overall system there. It’s so easy to get around and see new cities there. This was my experience prior to covid tho, I know a lot has changed since then.

      @angulaaagula5926 ปีที่แล้ว

Hey, noboby gives any counseling and advice at all
Nobody cares about Amaya's age too earlier
She could stay home voluntary to work and find jobs in neighborhood shop.
This Amaya is not aware yet from adults crimes
The step father asking questions is apart of their learning.
The mother answered on behalf which it's well
But in the college they will be stranger's asking same questions to Amaya's and not answering they will misconduct her to wronged Amaya.
If she comes out self that was God miracles.
The college is seems runner by western and Isreal occupation.
So crimes , Criminals are there to terminate Africa innocent people and more worse age advantage.

Why she cannot go local college and it'll take 1hour for mother's to show up to see what is going on
Which is near where she can comes homes every weekend?
What college that accept young teenager for college without working experience?

Wow! I actually learned some math here!! I have a Masters in Engineering, and I always just assumed the quadratic formula fell from the sky. Ha ha. I didn't know you could actually derive it! I paused the video to look at it. Basically, the trick is to try to get the x^2 + x b/a to become a perfect square. In my head, I used (x + y)^2 = x^2 + 2xy + y^2 , so that 2xy = x b/a. Then, y = b/2a. Which when plugged back will give the third line in your sheet.

For example, my mom was really strict about education. After tutoring at school, my mom tutored me & my brother. Teachers had to sign off on weekly grade reports for my mom .. she wanted to make sure that we were actually learning the material 😭 And then we would have Sunday quizzes on certain topics from school, so we could be prepared for the upcoming week. My brother was a scholar & maintained a 4.0 GPA while I maintained a 3.7 due to my problems with math .. unfortunately, I decided to go to college & my brother didn’t 💀 my mom was sooooooo hurt ! Long story short, he is currently making 7 figures while I’m still struggling to obtain my masters in public health 🥲 you can push furthering education all day but it all depends on the child

I discovered this family during loadshedding...smh, I was bored and went to TH-cam, damn since then I have been obsessed. I like the education and Christian topics, how Mommy and Daddy are so involved in their children's well-being, sometimes you find lots of parents with so many kids not caring and loving towards their children. Alena and Joe you inspire others. Keep it up and wishing you all God's blessings and Glory

amyah was just like me when i was deciding the college i wanted to attend 😭 it was easier for me too to figure out a career path during my time in college without stressing too much about it. although i got rejected from my dream school (fashion institute of technology), i took a year off after graduating from high school in 2017 because i knew if i would've went to college straight from high school my stress and anxiety would've been through the roof. but then, i ended up getting accepted to my second choice school where my mom graduated, got to graduate earlier than expected and now have an associate and bachelors in human services. my college has even helped me get the job that i have currently working with special needs babies. so wherever amyah decides to go, one advice from my own experience is when she gets to a point where she feels like she knows the career path she wants to try, see how well the school/school counselor is at helping their students find jobs where they won't waste their degree. hope all goes well!

I’ve visited NYU Shanghai, and be warned:
The campus is in Pudong, which is the part of Shanghai with all of the skyscrapers and office buildings. But this means that that part of the city is incredibly dead and has no neighborhood/community vibe AT ALL.
Also the NYU Shanghai campus is one single building. I’m not sure how a university can fit every facility (libraries, labs, classrooms, etc) in one university, but it seems entirely inadequate
