I really like that you recommend pieces from places like Target & Walmart, instead of the crazy expensive stores. You get the same look & function from reasonably priced items as you do from overpriced clothes. Thanks for making your very helpful content! I just wish I could still run into Target or Walmart once in a while ... we moved to Portugal nearly 3 years ago & I can't believe how much I miss Walmart & Home Depot & Michaels. LOL!

I have very good luck with the wrangler brand Jean jacket on Amazon, I have three colors and they have stretch in them, a good length not to short or long $36.00. I love them.
I agreed until I found my ‘forever’ denim jacket from Fatface a few years back. Light blue, light weight, short length, great pockets outside - and 💖 (oh heaven) inside for my passport and phone. I adore it having hated denim jackets - you may have to be lucky and keep looking for a brand which suits or I agree just accept they don’t suit your personal wardrobe xx

I bought a denim jacket at Costco of all places. 88% cotton, 11% poly, 1% elastane. Super comfy and stretchy and has a little warmth. I love it. The brand is Buffalo, David Bitton.

All of the outfits are super cute and great vacation ideas. I would wear them all except for the bathing suit as I prefer a two piece suit. I find them a lot more comfortable (especially tankinis). The striped tee and white shorts outfit is my favourite. Love the bag and sandals too that you paired with the outfit. I probably like it because I love wearing shorts and it looks like an outfit I would wear. 🙂

Like your video. Over the years I have found that I don’t use much on the plane ,so I carry a small bag and my regular purse. I check my suitcase. About, the clothes, I like to wear nice dress clothes. I like wearing dresses as they are so comfortable. I have a pair of mary Jane’s from SAS that are comfortable to walk6-7 miles .

I travel a lot! I no longer bother, caring a tote bag like you showed, but have switch to a backpack. Granted, it is not stylish, but it suits my purposes for hands, free comfortable carrying. My purse goes in the backpack, and then the backpack goes on top of a small, hard sided carry-on case that sits in the overhead bin. I also love to wear comfortable pants and sneakers, but usually choose a soft sweater or softer jacket as opposed to the blue Jean one. A scarf adds a layer of warmth and style, too.

I agree on the travel outfit-perfect! However, I only travel with a carry on. I think there are two kinds of luggage-carry on, and LOST! I've got my packing game perfected, so I can go anywhere in the world with just a carry on. Love your channel!
I have traveled extensively and so has my husband. Both domestic & internationally. Between the 2 of us, we've only had 1 bag temporarily lost. And that involved a cancelled connecting flight to South Africa and booking one with a different airline. Even then, the bag showed up a couple days later. So I Don’t carry on my big bag! It's a hassle and inconvenient for other passengers who have to wait on all the people with big carry-ons to get their stuff situated! I do carry an extra change of clothes in my little duffel bag just in case. Luckily, I've only had to use it that 1 time.

I love all your suggestions but I try not to check bags because it’s really a drag to get somewhere and not have a bag. Unfortunately the airlines lose so many bags. I really try to roll everything I’m carrying, but, love your little white bag. It’s a great idea to keep your ticket, phone and money handy in the airport. As usual you look adorable. I love your video’s and your great taste.
I've traveled a LOT in my life and I always check bags. I've only had a bag lost once & that was when I was traveling to South Africa and our flights were changed/re-routed because of bad weather and I had to book a flight on another airline to get there. My bag did arrive a day or so later. But that's why you always carry 1 extra pair of underwear & another top or whole outfit in your carry on. 😉That'll get you through until your bag arrives....in the unlikely event it gets lost.

Costco is a great place for a similar dress for far less. I bought the 32 degrees dress. It has pockets and cap sleeves and it was $10 on sale and came in 3 colors. It is a little long on a petite frame and hits at the knee. With the $59 bucks you save, you can buy some nice sandals and maybe a bag. ❤
I'd rather spend a little more and get one that fits me well. But that's a great option!
@@StylewithSerena I have the Zella. But for $10 bucks, the 32 degrees brand is an amazing alternative. And it can be hemmed to a shorter length.
A good tote bag for travel is the Goyard Atrois. A luxury brand but I love that bag.
It would help if you do your outfits in order of the side description or number your outfits so they can be more easily found. Love all the tips.
That is exactly what I do. I list the outfits in the description in the same order I show them in the video.

Exactly!! It irks me to no end to see passengers dragging bags onto a plane, struggling to load them in the overhead bins, clogging up the aisle and delaying the boarding and debarking process for everyone! Check your damn bags and this would go a whole lot faster!!!
@@StylewithSerena Absolutely! And it really doesn’t take that long to retrieve your bag. I have a system. Get off the plane, go to the restroom, maybe grab a coffee & bam the suitcases start flying. Plus I’m a shopper so I like to be able to load my purchases into that one big suitcase & roll with my tote not looking like a Sherpa. Bag Checkers Unite!!! 🤣

Some airlines only allow a 10kg bag to fit in the overhead baggage area plus a small bag so it’s quite restrictive. A check in bag has become quite expensive.
Depends on the airline. Here in the states you get a carry on (has to be certain dimensions) and a personal item. As long as they can fit in the OH bin or under the seat in front of you, you're good. And most US airlines let you check 1 bag "free".
I suggest slipping a pair of panties in the carry on in case luggage is delayed. Yes it happened to me! Got basic toiletries from airline as apology and from gift shop at hotel but no undies.🙄

Hi Serena… I watched this and I would say Oh I have that, yes I bought that..on and on. I love my grey footbed sandals and have them in black and grey. I have the black dress, the Dream pair sandals, have two J Crew sweaters I love.. Unfortunately, this is the first year I can remember since we got married that we are not going on any vacations. My husband is having his second knee replacement soon and I fell the other day in a hole by our river lot..Darn and now in a big knee brace and can not stand to sit in a car. That first dress is so casual and comfy looking. The other one..Wow no bra and you can not tell..that would be a dream come true. I learned the hard way not to wear joggers or yoga pants on the plane unless you’d be fine wearing them out to dinner and to all events for a few days if the airlines lose your luggage. Very common these days.

One thing that I have really been looking for and I can’t seem to find the right one is a straw type hat. I’m going to be heading out to a minor league playoff game with family and I really don’t want a ball cap. I thought that a pretty straw medium brim hat would be wonderful. Are you having any problems with your camera? The past couple of videos don’t look the same. Usually when you stand back to show a head to toe look, I can see every detail of your outfit….shoes, bag, hair, even makeup. But the past couple of times I can’t see anything at all when you stand back. That is very unusual for your videos. I’m not complaining, it was a great video and I enjoyed it very much. But I know you put in a lot of work to make a good video so I thought you might want to know. But again, it was a great video with really great outfits. I really appreciate all your hard work and look forward to every single video you make. You are my absolute favorite!!!!

@@StylewithSerena it’s not dark, it just seems unclear. Not really unfocused, just not clear. The videos are usually very sharp and I can see every detail. I can’t see the detail of your shoes, bag, hair….just when you stand all the way back.

I carry a full set of casual clothes in my carry-on. You never know when your luggage will not make to where you're headed. Otherwise, like you, I cgeck my luggage. Even if there's a fee.

I have a black dress from Old Navy similar to the black sleeveless dress you showed in your video. Comfortable and easy to pack. Yes, I bring a light sweater on the plane as well. I pack light and do carry on as much as possible as lugguge gets lost all too frequently. But, sometimes overhead bins are full so it gets checked for free anyway.

First I love watching your style, with that said I’m heading to the next 0 number 80, so as much as I love haul and style videos my life style has changed. I looked around my local neighborhood from grocery shopping to Fourth of July parties and notice no one dressed in clothes shown on these channels except the teens in cut offs top to bottom. Those who just run out for milk it’s a tee and the dreaded crop pants on a hot day, I did a no no wore shorts and sleeveless top flapping those wings, oh yes no heels, bunions out. Take a tour Disneyland and you will see the fashion for travel. My kids did London, Italy, Paris , bottom line tees and jeans all over, your channel is nice but comfort and wear what you like. My age the whistles have stopped.

53. Not sure why everyone thinks "over 50" means from 50-100. What women wear in their 50s & 60s is definitely different from what you might wear in your 70s & up.
