I really liked that they renovated the waterfront and opened a new observation deck with a great view of the city. The only thing is that the cats there were quite skittish and shy)

In many parts of the world, stray animals run away when they see people. In Turkey, when stray animals see humans, they run towards them. This is awesome.

Ye. Seeing humans mean two things here. Food or pets. And they get both. Dogs don't mind but I think the cats are getting tired of getting pets I think

Ich sah in der Türkei die schönsten Katzen der Welt. Jede Katze hat eigene Karakter und verschiedenes Aussehen. Denn die Katzen sind frei und vermischen sie sich mit dem sie vermischen wollen. Unterliegt nicht dem Qualzüchtung ( Mensch wilm Gott spielen, auf die kosten der Lebewesen ).Bin total begeistert.❤

This is a wonderful video! Istanbul is an animal lover's paradise. Especially cat lovers. I love everything about this video. Great shots. Great production. Rivals anything you can see on commercial television. It makes me want to immigrate to Turkey and help take care of these kitties!
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it! In Istanbul, many people do take care of cats, but unfortunately, I wouldn't say everything is perfect overall. There’s a huge problem with uncontrolled reproduction (especially in areas with a high concentration of cats), infections, and a high mortality rate among kittens. That said, if you're a cat lover, Istanbul is definitely worth a visit just to see them! As for me, I wanted to visit Istanbul after watching the famous film Kedi (2016)

We watch our cats, realize if they are pregnant and if we see them, then we watch and take care of the babies too. Every street knows their cats and we got their responsibility, if I miss a day, then another neighbor will take care of them. And some days they receive more food then others and if one of us miss a day to feed them, they stop us (literally) to give food. We do not see them as the stray cats, they are the cats of all neighborhood and we gave them the freedom to enjoy their life. Because we always grow up with a cat and that's our normal.

Agree, just feel sad for those who ignore how kind , sentimental, sensitive & pure with total attitudes these amazing creatures are. I already have 5 cats of which 3 were saved from streets & 2 were adopted . part of my life devotion is feeding , petting & trying to save cats & dogs who are in need . hope to share my cats pics with you too. Köpekler her yıl bir çok insanımızı öldürüyorlar insanların hayvan sevgilerini sömüren yardım dernekleri sırf etkileşim almak ve pazarı büyütmek için köpeklerin çılgınca üremesine neden oldular ve şuan durum kontrolden çıktı yapı olarak güçlüler ve özellikle çocukların güçleri köpeklere karşı yetersiz kalıyor maalesef 1 hafta önce bir bebek mardin de köpekler tarafından öldürüldü boş vicdan mastürbasyonu yapacağına beynini kullanmayı deneyerek mantıklı çözüm üret burada 3 iq sahibi olduğunu bağırarak belirtmen mevcut soruna hiç bir fayda sağlamıyor.
Türkiye’nin her yerindeki kediler mutlu ve huzurludur. Sokaktaki kediler hariç pek çok insanın evinde de kedi bulunur. Mesela benim iki tane. Kediler bizim sahibimiz biz onların kölesi🇹🇷♥️

Tengo entendido que ha habido ahora un por parte de las autoridades que quieren exterminar a la mitad de los gatos que existen precisamente hay una plataforma de los que ayudan a los gatos en la calle que están protestando porque no quieren que hagan eso aquí el Ayuntamiento tenía que haber tomado medidas en ese sentido si se hubieran esterilizado hace mucho tiempo no habría tantos gatos a esta altura en muchísimos gatos pero gracias a la gente de la calle que los alimenta por qué ayudas municipales no tienen ninguna y si no bajen ustedes en TH-cam los sitios que hay de Estambul con personas que se dedican a alimentarlos y encima encuentran con gente que les rompe las casas que les ponen a los gatos y todos están alimentados del propio bolsillo de los voluntarios por lo menos es lo que yo leo en TH-cam cuando me bajo temas de este índole gatos perros qué existen en Estambul si se fijan ustedes en invierno el metro de Estambul está lleno de gatos y de algún perro porque se meten allí para calentarse menos mal que los dejan y no los y no los echa todo eso lo he visto yo en TH-cam no es que haya ido Estambul a verlo muchos saludos @@Meow_Around

I have been to many cities in Turkey. It seemed to me that there are significantly fewer cats in Ankara and Bursa. I plan to visit Izmir sometime. I was there only passing through

Jedes Viertel hat seinen eigenen Charme und erzählt Geschichten aus verschiedenen Epochen, die gemeinsam ein einzigartiges Bild des Lebens in Istanbul zeichnen. Besonders bemerkenswert ist die Herzlichkeit und Tierliebe der Menschen in dieser Stadt. Die Bewohner von Istanbul haben eine ganz besondere Zuneigung zu Katzen und Hunden. Iwas many Times in Istanbul and others parts of Turkey. In Trabzon for example you can see alots of stray Cats and Dogs also.

Türkiye’nin her yerindeki kediler mutlu ve huzurludur. Sokaktaki kediler hariç pek çok insanın evinde de kedi bulunur. Mesela benim iki tane. Kediler bizim sahibimiz biz onların kölesi🇹🇷♥️

Tengo entendido que ha habido ahora un por parte de las autoridades que quieren exterminar a la mitad de los gatos que existen precisamente hay una plataforma de los que ayudan a los gatos en la calle que están protestando porque no quieren que hagan eso aquí el Ayuntamiento tenía que haber tomado medidas en ese sentido si se hubieran esterilizado hace mucho tiempo no habría tantos gatos a esta altura en muchísimos gatos pero gracias a la gente de la calle que los alimenta por qué ayudas municipales no tienen ninguna y si no bajen ustedes en TH-cam los sitios que hay de Estambul con personas que se dedican a alimentarlos y encima encuentran con gente que les rompe las casas que les ponen a los gatos y todos están alimentados del propio bolsillo de los voluntarios por lo menos es lo que yo leo en TH-cam cuando me bajo temas de este índole gatos perros qué existen en Estambul si se fijan ustedes en invierno el metro de Estambul está lleno de gatos y de algún perro porque se meten allí para calentarse menos mal que los dejan y no los y no los echa todo eso lo he visto yo en TH-cam no es que haya ido Estambul a verlo muchos saludos @@Meow_Around

Die Schönheit von Istanbul beruht nicht nur auf ihrer atemberaubenden Architektur und den beeindruckenden Sehenswürdigkeiten, sondern vor allem auch auf der reichen Kultur und der bewegten Geschichte, die dieser Stadt innewohnt. Jedes Viertel hat seinen eigenen Charme und erzählt Geschichten aus verschiedenen Epochen, die gemeinsam ein einzigartiges Bild des Lebens in Istanbul zeichnen.
Besonders bemerkenswert ist die Herzlichkeit und Tierliebe der Menschen in dieser Stadt. Die Bewohner von Istanbul haben eine ganz besondere Zuneigung zu Katzen und Hunden. In Istanbul wird Tierschutz offensichtlich großgeschrieben, und die Tatsache, dass man an vielen Ecken der Stadt auf diese liebevolle Geste stößt, zeigt die positive Einstellung der Bevölkerung zu den Tieren.
