I really like these. You would never know how those balls started out...child’s toy...topiary! So cute. I think I favor the first one, but definitely like both. Thanks for the inspiration! Try to stay cool this weekend. We are slated to have thunderstorms ALL weekend. Well, good time to DIY. 😊👍🏻🌳
I'm amazed at your success of chopping up moss and rolling a ball in it. One of these days I'm going to get the courage and try it. Love, yes love you DIYs! 😃💙💚
I love them both. Stay safe Megan. Now that’s the first time I have ever saw toilet cleaner to rust. I have seen vinigar Both were great. No wonder my toilet looks rusty. Lol. Keep crafting I love ur channel Kim
Another page for GG Nd Roses Bible. Almost done done painting and reminding our home. I can't wait to get these projects out in my home decor. You ROCK. When ever I'm watching your videos and hubby is near he shakes his head and turns the other way. LOL. He knows trip to DT is coming up. LOL.
Love how you remove the handles and lettering from the metal pot and transform it. Using balls instead of expensive styrofoam is also. Brilliant. I love your channel kept your inspiration and creativity coming. 💕
They turned out really cute. I used to sew primitive dolls and I had a recipe that I used to rust safety pins, nails and more, so I’m into the rusty look. For me that one turned out super cute. 😊
I'm addicted to topiaries. I need to join a support group. 😂 I think these turned out as nicely as ones that are for sale at Wayfair (& you don't have to make payments). I want to do some huge ones to go on my steps for the summer in some pots.
That’s a great tip on the 100% acetone. Nail-polish remover is some powerful stuff, especially in such a heavy ‘proof’ (like whiskey). I’m actually looking for ideas on how to make cheap, cool planters, and I’m going to try out some of your ideas on making the aged/antiqued/distressed metal from a paint can. You got a great, old-rusted metal thing going on. Awesome. Thank you!
Love topiary #1! I needed a topiary idea for my back deck and this is perfect. It will also be a good way to use up some of the extra greenery bits and pieces I save up when disassembling flower sprays for other projects.
I'm not a topiary fan but I do love how the second tin turned out. I tried it with vinegar and it didn't work. So now I have another technique to try! Love your videos, keep them coming!!
The tin didn't turn out as planned but I want to try it again because like I said I forgot about it being outside for a few hours 😂 I haven't seen a vinegar tin turnout as aged as I like but I I heard you can use salt? It was fun I'm definitely want to experiment more! Much love to you Kim ❤ -Megan
@@GlueGunsRoses I think I'll try the toilet bowl cleaner once. It looked almost coppery. Might look good in my bathroom on the shelf. Love trying new ideas. That's why I love your channel so much!
I have seen that before too! I remember seeing the toilet bowl cleaner used on Pinterest and it being very rustic. Not quite like mine turned out so maybe I should search again😂
Now I have a way to reuse any toy balls my boys end up wanting to get rid of 🖤These would be so gorgeous for Christmas with the little twinkle lights on the porch 🖤
Big Balls In Cowtown. I love the topiaries. Now can you make one that looks like a giraffe? 🤪 Thanks for the tip on aging the tin. Here’s another tip for toilet bowl cleaner; if you have hard water or a heavy build up of soap use a little bit of the cleaner on a glass door. It cuts right through. I love Octavia’s channel. Her projects are really original. Not as original as yours of course. 🌸
Cut it like velveeta cheese! 😂 Love it! I'm so excited for the topiary DIYs because I've been wanting to make some and needed some inspiration. Thank you, and awesome! as always 💕
Did you actually use two foam balls in this demo? I ask because I wonder how both would gold it's shape, especially having holes poked through them (the one on the bottom, you did it twice), you have the hot glue and moss, and it looks perfect? And you can't see the original orange color of the ball unless you painted it? Just curious..
#megan the topiaries turned out wonderful! I really love the acetone trick!! I enjoy watching your videos so much! I get so tickled at you bc you're great at the DIY'S yet have the attitude like me yay you don't yay whatever floats your boat! I love it! Keep the awesome vids coming!!! Blessings, Erica ♥️🌻😁
Love the toilet bowl cleaner trick! Very cute!
I want to try it again. It didn't turn out exactly as planned but still cool ❤
I really like these. You would never know how those balls started out...child’s toy...topiary! So cute. I think I favor the first one, but definitely like both. Thanks for the inspiration! Try to stay cool this weekend. We are slated to have thunderstorms ALL weekend. Well, good time to DIY. 😊👍🏻🌳
Love that you used real sticks lol. I use adhesive spray and on the foam ball and then put the moss in a bag and toss the ball around

Love the topiaries! 💕💕
I like the aged pail a lot!! The fact that you got the 2nd ball to stay upright on top of the first one is pretty amazing. 😁🙌🏼 Very cute ideas.
I love them both. Stay safe Megan. Now that’s the first time I have ever saw toilet cleaner to rust. I have seen vinigar Both were great. No wonder my toilet looks rusty. Lol. Keep crafting I love ur channel Kim
That 2nd pot looks super cool! Thanks for sharing!

I think your right ... with first choice ! Yet your creative effort was super impressive and still aesthetically pleasing !!
I’ve never been one to dig topiary or the use of moss except for in people’s yards who have fancy houses...lol, but these turned out super cute!
Love how you remove the handles and lettering from the metal pot and transform it. Using balls instead of expensive styrofoam is also. Brilliant. I love your channel kept your inspiration and creativity coming. 💕
Thank you Judith!
They turned out really cute. I used to sew primitive dolls and I had a recipe that I used to rust safety pins, nails and more, so I’m into the rusty look. For me that one turned out super cute. 😊
I love this idea. I've always wanted some of these but they are expensive. I'm definitely going to make these. Thank you for the idea!
I loved both topiary's and I really liked the second tin.
I like the first one best, but both are pretty.
I'm addicted to topiaries. I need to join a support group. 😂
I think these turned out as nicely as ones that are for sale at Wayfair (& you don't have to make payments). I want to do some huge ones to go on my steps for the summer in some pots.
Love them!!! I super love how the second tin turned out all rusty looking, awesome!! I think that technique will catch on for sure!! TFS
I like this one,cheap and pretty.thank you.
Like the first one. The sticks make it
In general are all your topiary trees 20in, is that just the stick in the ball or the whole tree put in whatever container your using?
I love your channel ! You are so creative ! I have to try the toilet bowl cleaner trick ! Lol
I can't choose a favorite, they're both beautiful 😊 🌳😊🌳

I like them both but 1st is my fav

Thanks for another awesome video!❤💕❤
Looks GOOD to me !!! Thank you for sharing!

Super cute! And what great tips. I like them both, but I think the second one is my favorite. Great job girlfriend!!
I really like them....& u can also get the galvanized look by wrapping the bucket in a vinagar soaked towel👍😁
I have seen that before too! I remember seeing the toilet bowl cleaner used on Pinterest and it being very rustic. Not quite like mine turned out so maybe I should search again😂

Looks store bought nice job. You inspire me. I'm definitely trying to make this I loved it thank you.
These are beautiful and I agree with you that the first one is my favorite! I like both of the containers!!👍💕😊

Great job!! Look great. I luv 2nd tin alot!!
Love these ideas!
Thabk you Judy!
They are both great.
I agree. I like the tin on the 2 and the ball from the first. Either way, I love it!
Great minds think alike 😉 I was going to make both tens the same but I wanted to give some options.. but I really like the 2nd tin better
Beautiful as always! 👏🏻
Thank you sweet friend!!!
great job I love this thank you
Omg! I these are so rad! 😉 I 💙 Octavia too. U girls really know your stuff! Y'all rock! Much Love!!🌞🌻
Yay! Glad you love her too. I saw her do this a while back my mind was blown because I've always tried to scrub with acetone and it took too long 😂
I like them both, but I guess the first
One because of the outdoor sticks
When I used the plastic balls from $ tree I wrapped them in duct tape before using my glue gun!! Easy peasy! They look great!
I like the single one the best💕💕
Love it ! You had me at Pottery Barn !! Love the first one ! 😍
Lo.. ... ve these!!! 😊👍
So clever! I used the inflatable balls for moss balls as well. They deflate over time. 😪 Due to that, I only use foam balls now.
I used fake brown swad ribbon wrapped my stick .I didn't do it smoothed so it look like it had a few notches.
Great idea 👍 so cute thanks for sharing have a wonderful weekend
Thank you Sandra! I hope you enjoy your weekend too💕💕💕
@@GlueGunsRoses you are welcome and thank you
Hi Megan you did a great job. They are authentic looking and decorative. You did a great job. Might try one. Thanks 👍👍❤️❤️🌷🌾🌾
Cut it like velveeta cheese! 😂 Love it! I'm so excited for the topiary DIYs because I've been wanting to make some and needed some inspiration. Thank you, and awesome! as always 💕
What not use the styrofoam ball instead?
Love them both ❤❤❤
I'm so LOVIN you!!!! Thank you!!! LOL@ "Thank You Mother Nature"

I'm with you that a foam ball would have been best. I liked the first tin better but, I liked the moss topiary better.
Love it !!
I am having a hard time finding the green moss in my local DT stores. I will keep looking because I love your topiaries!
I'm thinking it may be seasonal? Because I can't find it now either
Your ideas are amazing ! 🤙 😎 #Subscribed
So happy you uploaded. Haven't watched yet but just wanted to say hi👋
Hey Leah! I hope you had a wonderful week sweet friend 💕💕💕
@@GlueGunsRoses I did, it was my daughters last full week of school before summer 🥳 I hope you also had a great week.
How did u stick the stick in without popping the ball
I didn't stick it in the ball. I just got glued it ❤
