    Among all of youtubers that visit KL this is one of the best video of KL , proper editing , simple , packed with useful information .combining all that and become some sort of short documentary vlog.Thanks to all vloggers that come to KL .Your contribution help, giving back life to Small businesses here after covid. We never ever thought KL could surpass Bangkok as the most visited city in Southeast asia, and 6th in the world for 2023 because we understand we were not really popular compare to Singapore and Bangkok. Thanks for your contribution for our tourism industry. Thanks for visiting.

      Thank you for your kind words and appreciation. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for KL from the first time I visited over 10 years ago. I’ve been fortunate to have traveled to other parts of Malaysia and have found the same hospitality and warmth from Malaysians, no matter where I go. Thanks again!

I have to admit that I rely on Grab for most of my short trips. I need to show more love to the metro and monorail system as it really is one of the best systems in SE Asia and the world. @@iamjohnsaboe Your video ushered back to my memory lanes of using some of the lines in KL. Notably, using LRT, Monday to Friday, from my apartment in Bandar Baru Sentul near Sentul Station to KL Sentral where my previous office is located in MIDA HQ via the Masjid Jamek Station. Previously, I was working in KLCC, from site office to Petronas Twin Towers 2, from 1993 to 1999, back then LRT to KLCC Station wasn't in place. What's not in the video is using the KTM line, which I used every Friday for my weekly Friday prayer at the National Mosque, commuting from KL Sentral to the old KTM train station. What a wonderful vlog. Excellent. 😀

    I’ve had the pleasure of taking all sorts of transportation options in KL and indeed they are very easy and efficient. A bus from KLIA2 to KL Sentral, a monorail from KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang, an economy bus to and from Singapore, a taxi from Bukit Bintang to my Airbnb, several Rapid KL lines to KLCC and Ikea Cheras and a Grab ride from my Airbnb in Bukit Bintang to KLIA2. KL is the most stunning and possibly the most efficient and affordable cities for transportation. And this guide will be helpful whenever I go back to the city. Cheers, John! A small, comprehensive and convenient city that offers everything including the little luxuries. A very well research, detail and meticulous video. TQ.
    Malaysia is a food heaven while the people, the races and the cultures are a melting pot. While the durian is the king of fruit and it smells like hell but tastes like heaven.
    As for public transport, its very convenient and practical to take the train in the city of A1 KL. From the city of KL you can venture out to the old Malacca city or go north to the islands of Penang and Langkawi or to the Taman Negars National Park and later go island hopping to the East Coast and finally go tribal to East Malaysia of Sabah and Sarawak.

    amazing video! quick question: i noticed rapidkl sells an unlimited day pass for all of kl's public transport called the mycity pass, and said pass is integrated in a touch and go card you're given. once that pass is up the next day, would i be able to use the touch and go card as a regular card (i.e. topping up with cash rather than passes and what not)?

    • @iamjohnsaboe
      @iamjohnsaboe  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks very much! I think the 2 day pass can be reloaded as a regular touch n go card after the end of 2 days use. Just confirm when you purchase.

    As a practical matter, there isn't much point in taking the train in from the airport to KL Sentral and then getting a taxi to your hotel, when a Grab taxi from the airport is only a little more expensive and much more convenient. And Grab is so cheap and convenient for getting around town that there's often little point in using public transport unless you really want to use public transport.

    • @iamjohnsaboe
      @iamjohnsaboe  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s true that could make it more convenient for some. However the problem is if everyone does that we’ll have more cars on the road. More pollution. Using public transportation is lighter on the environment don’t you think? What also happens if there is heavy traffic, an accident or something else.
