শীতলক্ষ্যা নদীর পশ্চিম তীরে ঐতিহাসিক হাজীগঞ্জ দুর্গের অবস্থান। এটি মুঘল আমলের স্থাপত্যশিল্পের অনন্য নিদর্শন। একসময় দুর্গটি ‘খিজিরপুর দুর্গ’ নামে পরিচিত ছিল। এখানে জমির পরিমাণ ১৯ দশমিক ৬৪ একর। মোটামুটি পূর্ব-পশ্চিমে লম্বা দুর্গটির আয়তন ২৫০ বাই ২০০ ফুটের মতো। এর ছয়টি অর্ধবৃত্তাকার কোন রয়েছে।
Hajiganj Fort also called Khizrpur Fort, situated at Hajiganj locality of Narayanganj on the western bank of the Sitalakshya. Having the characteristics of a water fort, it was originally built just at the point where the old Buriganga discharged into the Sitalakshya. It may have been built soon after Islam Khan established the Mughal capital at Dhaka, and was intended to countercept the raids of the Magh and Portuguese pirates.
