How to diagnose and 'feel' what you might be doing wrong. A dart drops into the lower 1 but you feel exactly the same as when you threw one in the 60. How can you become more attuned to what feels like a late/early release? When you're not following through fully etc.
Also how do you make changes to a throw stick? You can do all the work in practice but then in a match you go right back to your old habits. How do you make the conscious efforts unconscious?
Epic advice, I’ve always stood side on but when playing in my first tournaments felt the knee getting sore or wobbly. So tried a half n half and that works better as like you said comfort is key all makes sense now 👍

You’ve said before about slow release for the darts position in the board can you do a lesson exaggerating early and late release to demonstrate so I can correct and improve my throw
Just adding another hint: Regularly practise standing on something wabbly like pillows for example. It forces you to get more concentrated while throwing and also increases your the growth of your muscles around your ankles so you will have a really solid stance when you throw without them in future. Helped me a lot!
