this is great information and I'm trying to incorporate it in my throw, but the question I have now is how to aim, say from double tops to double 3. I've been using my elbow height to aim, and then try to keep it steady in the throw itself, but if I hold my elbow always at the same height, what is the part of the body or element in the throw that should be used to aim lower or higher?
Great bit of information as always! I changed my form to a more conventional one like what you're doing a month ago, instead of the 'push' throw you showed here, and I've gotten way more consistent. By the by Wayne Mardle, do you know when you'll have more of your shirts in medium on your store page? Everywhere I look online, they're out of stock! Cheers!
I'll have to focus on my elbow more, to find out if it's moving too much and being the reason why I can't throw straight consistently. Sometimes I feel like my shoulder is the cause of wayward darts 🤔
Well mate you explained that way better than me 👍, and I can tell when i drop my elbow, as the darts start landing lower on the board. So thanks for the clear explanation 😉😉🎯🎯
You are moving your whole are up and down as you pull back and push forward to throw.. just practice just moving your forearm without a dart in your hand
Gary Anderson “pushes” his darts. He said something like this one time… When he found out he could push the day, that’s the day he realized he could play darts.
I used to hit two or three 180’s per practice session. Then for whatever reason I started dropping my elbow and pushing the dart and I can’t seem to fix it!!

A really good way to check if your elbow is moving up or down is to video your throw. Excellent Mab 👍🏻🎯
