For the sock puppets , firstly , they are talking ( sort of ) Gaelic , spoken in some parts of northern Scottish mainland and in quite a few of the isles surrounding Scotland. Secondly , the cute little girl on the bicycle is not the grim reaper , she’s just causing the accidents but when the adults go to see who has caused it in a furious temper , they see this angelic little sunbeam who of course they cannot possibly be angry with as she is just so button cute. 👍🏴
The French guide to Glasgow, I've always found hilarious. lol The way Chewin' The Fat was never afraid to ridicule the crappier elements of Glaswegian culture is one of the reasons it found a place in my heart. :) The Lighthouse Keepers were great as usual, and the Big Man sketch here is a classic. My fave line of this episode though has to be Victor saying: "You can stick your karaoke up your arse!" The way the lift doors shut as he's saying it makes it even funnier. Heehe!
The part where the big man says he’s going to rearrange his face so bad that his sons going to wonder why there’s a pizza at the letterbox begging to get in is my favourite of the whole show 😂😂😂😂😂
"complementary kick in the nuts" haha. Dont know about you or anyone else, but I have a wee alcohol and snack unit/stash in my living room! My favourite bits were the animal activist at the end with the 3 guys flashing (well 2 of them), funny as. haha
The Wee Girl with the Scooter Often characters are seen to be injured in various, and often serious, ways, such as being run over or pushed down the stairs, and when looking around to see the perpetrator, they are faced with a smiling young girl on a scooter, accompanied by some light ice cream van-esque music. The injured party and anyone accompanying them respond by saying, "Awww" and seem to forget about what has happened to them, occasionally dying from their injuries.
I could be wrong but I think the point of the sketch is our propensity to forgive children (especially female children) for anything wrong they do. Each scenario would play-out very differently if the child was replaced by an adult. Just my take, I'm possibly reading too much into it.
