    I interpreted this letter in another way. What is the reason??
    - As if it were a reminder of what our objectives or purposes in life are... what is the reason for not having peace of mind, are we doing what we like or is it for survival. basically I interpret it this way, we have to follow our objectives no matter what the world says, if you are happy and that makes you happy continue .... This is for love or for your own life (Objectives and goals), follow if purpose. I write directly from Mozambique, my name is Zocora, fan of Mr. Eazi. ZaggaDat!

    I'm Angolan, my native language is Portuguese, and I'm passionate about languages. I'm also fluent in French and English, but what really excites me is Nigeria. In my opinion, Nigeria stands out as the best African country, and I'm particularly passionate about Afrobeat, which happens to be my favorite music genre.
    However, I've been facing some challenges trying to grasp the Pidgin English that everyone uses when singing. 😭
    Gradually, I'm starting to familiarize myself with the expressions, but it remains a bit difficult.
    So far, I've picked up a few words and phrases like "dey, wey, wahala, don, na, e, fit, no."
    I've always been on the lookout for Nigerians who could help me understand even the basics and teach me the Nigerian way of communication, so I can fully grasp everything, but I haven't been able to find someone.
    Now that I've come across your channel, I believe it could be another step in the right direction. Thank you very much, and please continue to assist me on this journey.

      I read this so many times and it makes me laugh 😂 I love it! Thanks for taking the time to write this out. I love that you know many languages that’s soooo cool!
      Those terms you listed are the foundation of many terms in pidgin English so I’m happy you have those down. I know many people get confused on “na” a lot so I try to break it down in my videos but I do forget at times. I’ll try my best to continue breaking it down and hopefully you are able to learn a lot 🙂

    From my own perspective I don't think it's a love song per say but he's addressing a close friend , relative or even ex lover someone he has ties with but acts like a form of obstacle to his progress.

    wow you try in your translation of this song but I'd never seen this song simply as a love song about a woman, but i see it as a song you can generalize to every human out there, to every relationship be it between friends or a woman as you explained.
    Omah lay is a poet, so his words can really only be explained by him, .
    He is voicing out his insecurities in keeping relationships, he is frustrated by heartbreaks not only from a woman but even those he called friends.
    There are alot to say About this short song even more than most songs with much lyrics

  • @kiama5473
    @kiama5473 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Is it really like that? Nothing would ever tell me that he is talking about love.
    I would tell he is talking about spiritual things.
    Or even about being swamped with a lot of work in society. Like a man who works a lot and never has time for other things.

    • @simbihawt
      @simbihawt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your input and no I can never say I am 100% right. I always mention in the video that only the song writer knows the true meaning of a song. That’s the beauty of music so you may be correct and I’m wrong but that how I understand the song. I’m always interested in learning new perspectives so I appreciate when you all leave comments 🙂

      That shekeleke thing you did was incredible, unbelievable and impossible to interpret in that way. You really killed it.
      Make a nigga suit and tie.
      Let him fly like you.
      How could anybody know that that suit has something to do with the white?😂 You rock it!
      Btw what does "Let him fly like you" would ever mean in that context?

    • @simbihawt
      @simbihawt  ปีที่แล้ว

      😂😂 thanks !!
      Since he said chekele which is white and flies in nature being a bird, I think he played with the bridal aspect and then also the capabilities of the bird. I see the lady as being a bit more carefree and not as serious as Omah Lay in this song so it’s like let me fly like you- let me too be free and relaxed and untroubled.
      Or maybe let’s get married and I know we can fly together/excel? Can be many things
