  • Let the SUNSHINE IN!
Imagine waiting 8 months to take the insulation off your windows and to put your extreme winter clothing away.
This will be our 9th year living in the yurt and each year we feel the same about spring. Returning waterbirds in the marsh, the first flowers to bloom (the purple crocus) on the trails, leaves on the trees, the sound of the hooting Boreal owls, and warmer days and nights are all a great relief from the dark, cold, and quiet of winter.

4:51 What do we do with our winter clothes??

Thanks for watching, Melissa. We got our yurt from Nomad Shelter in Homer Alaska.
