The HB103s are import versions of the '59 Neck and Distortion Bridge, both with single ceramic magnets. Same specs as domestic SDs and high build quality as they were overseen by Seymour Duncan. You can swap magnets to A5 if you want more like the '59/JB set or A2, A8 etc depending what youre looking for.
These are great guitars fantastic buy.Great necks and great modding platform. Plus medium jumbo frets, Strat bridge and rosewood necks. One of Squiers best designs it just works.
Beautiful find my friend! Congratulations!!! My J Mascis Jazzmaster aand classic vibe 70''s Jaguar are 2 of my favorite guitars. Would love to find one of those!
Nice find that one!! Sounds great. I'm also interested to know if those ebay Ernie Ball strings are real or not. Seem very cheap but they are extremely close to looking genuine as far as the packaging knows.
Personally I wouldn't take the risk. How can they be so cheap on eBay compared to other reputable stores? Ok, they might function as a guitar string but at the price they must be counterfeit which is not good!
damn that's rad. i wish my jagmaster was black instead of sunburst, which prompted me to sand it off and fail at a repaint, prompting a next-level sticker slapped refin.... then i thought the duncan designed bridge pickup was a bit dull and swapped in an invader with coil splitting on all of it, and then i experimented with steel saddles and steel trem block then locked down yadda yadda ....anyways, best feeling neck on any guitar i've ever played, that much is certain.
I just can't love 21 fret guitars. It's like, I think some or a lot of the 80's music/glam metal/hard rock I am into use even 24 frets sometimes, and even if not (which a Guitar Center tech pointed out), they definitely use the 22nd fret a lot of the times. How am I supposed to play the 22nd fret? You can't always bend the 21st fret if it's a fast-played note... : ( I think some of the newer Squier guitars (Player II?) have 22 frets and that's amazing to see.

Young Gen X'er, 44 here too and I also love offset Guitars. Got myself 2 Mustangs and a Jag-Stang currently. Got my first Mustang in 1996.
