Dwayne Johnson seems like a hyper-sensitive ego-maniac. Given his control-freak history, I wouldn't be surprised if this tv show misrepresenting his life is actually propaganda for when he tries to run for office later. Hopefully all those synthetic hormones result in coronary artery disease and we won't have to worry about the damage he'd do politically.
Of all the wrestlers I got to meet as a child......Bam Bam was one of the best experiences. I was about 11 and this big dude with a missing tooth and skull tattoo was just so happy to see little kids come out to meet him!! He was very engaging with all of us and very kind!! I'm almost 40 and this is one good memory I always keep!
I’m from the Jersey Shore and when I was 10 years old, one of my best friends aunts was married to Bam Bam. He came by unannounced at a sleep over party and I’ll never forget how strong he was when he play-slammed all of us. I still have a pic of him putting me in a headlock and he’s wearing Zubaz pants

My stepfather has lots of clients in the Jersey shore and back in the 90's he surprised my sister and I with "some wrestler from Asbury Park". So we go to this house briefly because he had an estimate. And he ask my sister and I to ring the door bell, so we go ahead and do that. We hear "WHO IS IT!?!" and we were speechless because the guy sounded so mean. So he swings open the door and goes " WHADDYA YOUS WANT!?" and we see this giant of a man tatted from head-to-toe and a fanny pack, with flip-flops. We were SO besides ourselves and taken aback. Once he saw how speechless he looks at my stepfather and goes "Mike! OH! Its you and your kids! Come inside!". He busted our chops but he was the coolest dude. Next to Jeff Jerrett and Owen, Bam Bam was the most down-to-Earth and nicest wrestlers we met.
I really like the ending of this scene where Bruno had to ask for a ride, because some fan slashed his tires. Mick Foley told a similar story about when he was working down in WCCW. He'd finished a show, came out and all four tires on his car had been slashed. He went back into the arena to ask for some help. He told one of the other wrestlers that all his tires had been slashed and they guy looked at him and said, "Wait, they slashed all four?" Foley said, "Yeah, all four." The other wrestler said something like "Damn, you got some good heat brother. Well done." Only in wrestling would property damaged be considered a positive.
