i was not a huge u2 fan until i saw this performance. i was up late watching tv back in 2001 and this concert was being shown on some cable channel. of course i had heard this song a million times back in the 80's but something stirred in me when i say this particular performance. maybe it was Edge's guitar building up to the opening or the amazing lighting design or bono running around that heart..i dont know, but i fell in love that night and have been in love ever since.
I can watch this performance over and over again and never get tired of it. Its just perfect how the camera captures the love we U2 fans have for this magnificent Rock Band. U2 Forever! See you @ Giants Stadium.

He started by telling his technician to raise the volume of his earpiece, than removed his earpiece and sang with the crowd which was going nuts! But i dream of seeing them live in Ireland, that would be the ultimate experience

I love U2! This performance is really magical ahhh, you can feel a warmth from that place... I would have to say Boston and Slane Castle are my two favorite performances for this song!!
The transition/mix between Bad and Streets is nothing short of amazing. I have watched this part of the Elevation DVD numerous times and it always gives me goosebumps
