    I’ve unfortunately had a lot of issues. If I had to do over, I absolutely wouldn’t buy one. The tech they sent out made the issue worse and I ended up putting the machine back together. The machine squeaks and clicks despite proper lubrication and adjustment. Maybe I got a lemon but I expected way more from a $3000 machine.

    The curve and inability to run on an incline is good cause the strain intop of the feet is eliminated or atleast mitigated.

      @@jordanschaefferfitness Would this be good for leisurely walking while watching TV? Or would this manual treadmill require too much attention that we won’t be able to watch tv while walking. Our motorized treadmill jammed and threw my husband off the treadmill so now I’m thinking a manual treadmill might be better. Thanks

    How many mile have you put on this? Any long runs or just sprinting?

    • @jordanschaefferfitness

      I have had it for over 2 years now and it’s held up great! I have done sprints and distance work on it. I prefer to do long runs outside but it still works to do distance if you don’t mind being on a treadmill

    They have similar manual treadmill like this, that cost much more with magnetic resistance. This should to an extent mimic an incline since this is oval shaped.

    • @jordanschaefferfitness
      @jordanschaefferfitness  ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the running is done on the flat portion of the belt just by design the belt starts higher to keep the motion going.

    what about long distance running with that treadmill?

    • @jordanschaefferfitness
      @jordanschaefferfitness  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Long distance works great! It’s very easy to get into a good pace and the monitor is great and will give you lots of data and feedback.
      How long are you typically running?

    • @ret01101
      @ret01101 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Works excellent. Meantime usually I watch some travel video. Much less boring than running outdoors in my surroundings. Not speaking, that if I had to interrupt a long-long jogging or walking session I am at home (using the washroom, drinking a juice).

    Is the resistance adjustable?

    • @jordanschaefferfitness
      @jordanschaefferfitness  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately there is no added resistance on this treadmill and no way to do an incline walk.

    Your heel striking.
    This curved mill is supposed to promote mid to forefoot striking, which all good runners ( including myself) do.
    I've had my Trotter 685 for 20 years ----NO MAINTENANCE!!!----
    It goes 20% up ,5% down,& 4:48 per mile!
    I've also run barefoot for 4 years---w zero injuries & this has only completely bulletproof my feet & legs & I saved enough $$ NOT buying all the " gizmo" flavor of the months shoes to fund an incredible investment portfolio.
    So.........IDK ..... yr Assult,while in principle appears valid, in actuality I can sprint / do intervals outside ( no 4K investment) & my 20% incline will make you up to an Olympic level runner( all top runners use motorized mills)
    ( Woodway!)
    Nice review BTW.

    Cool treadmill but downsides are no incline AND no adjustable resistance. It would be perfect with both of these and even better if it had lever arms you could do farmers walks with. Running then walking with 75-125lbs in each hand would be awesome!
