Found your channel awhile back to learn about my Crossfire. Recently added a 1980 Corvette with a Quadrajet. Most of my experience has been with fuel injection so happy to see this video from you.
Wish I left my shit alone and waited to rebuild the carb I’m wiser now and learned my lesson. But really neat to see the difference between them but I think I’ll take a Quadrajet over a mopar thermo.
Thank you for the video. Very informative, especially the Thermo-Quad part for me. Perhaps you might have an answer/or someone. I have a 69 Jeep Gladiator that comes stock with a Buick 350, 68-70, I removed the two barrel and put the 4 barrel on. Buick ran quadrajet, my question is; which carb is a better set up for 4X4? Thank you.
@westofcrestwood2557 I’m not an off road guy, but I know for a fact the Quadra-Jet is pretty much the best carb for off roading. I’ve heard of them holding strong on a 20+ degree incline without loading up or flooding.

I used to race Qjets. I have a bunch of them and extra parts I would give to someone.
I’d love to add to my carb collection. Email me at roccojakubec@yahoo.com
