They were originally given the largest portion of the land in a compromise, but they refused to accept any less than 100%, and went to war to take it. They subsequently lost most of the land, and they have never let that grudge die, and have refused every offer of a peaceful end to the conflict.

What was said was essentially that muslims could have Jordan and jews could have Israel, much like India was partitioned. I think it's fine. ben is undeniably one of the most talented debaters in our world right now and his ability to be able to recite thousands of sources in seconds to strengthen his argument is what makes him a master on a lot of political subjects and deadly to debate on a public platform. With that being said, the best debaters tend to never debate something that they’re not well educated, so I find it hard to believe that Ben would’ve walked on a stage and have a debate with a college student if he didn’t know what he was talking about. A 30 second clip with not give you enough context to understand his argument, actually watch the debate before assuming he’s wrong. My suggestion is always be willing to learn and have an open-mind. Just because the popular opinion is trendy, doesn’t make it right. An unbias opinion before coming up with your own conclusion will make you understand the topic more at which you can formulate your opinion.
