Nice video, was working 455s through ewell west sunday night when the snow fell i was one of the last services to make it all the way down and back from dorking that night
Excellent!!! Nice one Oliver. I presume this is your local station. East Croydon in the snow on TV in the news was unbelievable. How did you know about 37667 as it was doing some strange things.
Yep thats my local station, was just by luck seeing the 37, went down to get some more photos of the station in the snow, i saw the signal clear and thought are something must be coming so got the camcorder out and by luck it was the class 37.
I have lived over here in the UK for the last 8 years and never understand why they shut the system down in adverse conditions. The Class 66 and other are built in London Ontario Canada and for some reason the leafs and snow are so diffrent too the that of other countries that still run thier respected trains in adverse conditions.Interesting video.I remember getting a snow day then because of the snow.Send home at 2pm and did not have to come back to work until 10 the next morning.Interesting.

there was no passenger trains for 2 days at Ewell West, the 1st train was going to Epsom to collect a failed train.

The slammers used to arc a lot better :0) and they made a right racket doing it too.
Cute station! Lots of express going through as well.
Not unlike our Kingston Station RI, US.
