So happy to see you with a semi-auto. My heart used to cry for you when you racked the bolt and it took sooooo long between shots. Congratulations, mate!
Great to see ya back at it Nathan Mate! The footage is getting better and better with every video. Love seeing the .223 putting on a show and the Suppressor also putting in the work. Love seeing how far the optics have come too. Whole new world of hunting, awesome technology. I miss my old .223 it was such a reliable old rifle but like always, life happens and things change, lol. Anyway, I would be very keen to see more on the Ute build if possible. Cheers Mate! Pauly D!
I got rid of my Amarok 3 years ago. No end of problems, electrical issues like lock the vehicle and random door locks don’t lock (so anyone can get in) or don’t unlock (so you can’t get back in) or fuel door doesn’t unlock so you can’t fill up, radio or instrument panel doesn’t work, none of which were able to be diagnosed. Constant issues with random engine or transmission codes that the dealership and a ‘specialist’ couldn’t work out. DPF and the EGR cooling system (the EGR had been removed prior to my buying the vehicle but they left the cooling system because it had a second water pump - which also stuffed up) always playing up and giving codes - told by dealership that I shouldn’t just drive in the city and need to do “country miles” - I work nights and drive 60km each way to/from work, on the highway with no traffic at 110kmh! Engine blew up at 138k (was never low on oil, had zero symptoms prior, with regular maintenance more frequently than the manual). I’d had the RAC out that morning as it was showing a code for low oil level (though oil pressure was fine!) RAC man was also my mechanic. He determined that the oil was ok (I had already checked that!) and said it was ok to drive. Drove about 8km, then as I turned onto another road, pulling behind another vehicle at about 50kmh, the engine blew 3 of the injectors clear out. Now, mine happened to be one of the first brought to Australia, made in Argentina, and had been a cop car (undercover drug squad here in Tasmania) and I believe that many of the issues trace back to the modifications they did (installing and removing radios, lights, trackers, etc) and they did some dodgy stuff like removing the EGR.
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK when the bastard worked it was a fantastic drive, though. I am happy with the Mitsi Fuso Canner ( it isn’t a CAN’Ter!) 4x4 that I use now.
Yeah spot on. I'm fascinated by how you use the Quad and the rail with the rifle. It seems very efficient way to track and shoot. All the technical stuff just "flies over my head' every pun intended.
Love ❤️ your videos, I'm jealous 😮, I'm 70 old school, had BSA heavy barrel.222, best rifle I've ever had ❤ made own reloader/I'm toolmaker, mum and dad worked for WINCHESTER Geelong 1960s, you're gear is uking amazing and the 4x4 mini !! High % of kills well done 👍👏,looks an awesome property 😊cheers 🍻 😊
A tip for you, I v'e been spotlighting for yrs, I had a little suzi 4wd . What I did was put red acrylic over the headlights. You can still see where you are going but it doesn't spook the game as much. Think about it you have a spotlight blairing away with 2 bright headlights, they don't like it. Try it you may be surprised. Good shootin BTW.
Most of us would have had a 'sickie' but nope, not Nath, he's out on the font lines of the environmental fight and probably still grinning ear to ear doing it, love watching your work mate 👍 Cheers TJ
Very impressed you took the time to set up the camera for those secondary shots of yourself whilst shooting. A lot of work goes in to getting that B roll footage and editing it all together, Thanks for the effort, the videos are great.
Would love to see the 4×4 build here. Snippets would be fine, but more is better! Great job as always! Thanks for doing what you do and taking us along for the ride!
Nice vid Nathan. Congrats on the Amarok purchase. I've got a 2013 Amarok 270k klms and still going strong. I'll be interested in your build as I'm considering upgrading in the next couple of years.
I’m surprised you’re having as good of luck with the EPN bullet. We have tried everything and settled on a cheap 55 grain FMJ. The FMJ seems to penetrate better for us on pigs. The varmint rounds just seemed to just knock chunks of meat and hide. Plus the cost per pig on ammo helps too. Anyways badass rig and shooting.
Made a good lunch time view this one 👍 Mate i thought it was a mic downgrade (joke) had the same nasal issue about 8 weeks ago, just wouldn't go away. Great work as usual mate, Cheers 👍👍
oh to have a semi auto .223 :-( didnt think you could have semi's let alone a suppressors over there? good to see a semi being so effective..very jealous
I also had a short barrelled .308 which was ideal for walking channels in the outback where I lived, and a Winchester lever action in .22 Cal. That was many years ago and I no longer have any firearms.
Great shooting as always. If you want to do a build collab, my suggestion would be to have a crack at the bloke from the Explore Life channel. Right up their alley!
Another great video mate much appreciated, love the footage. Hope your feeling better now. But im quite surprised a bush boy such as yourself would buy an Amarok, or rebdaged Ford Ranger? I wouldve thought you wouldve got a Hilux or a Dmax.

@andrewallason4530 that sucks

Some slick follow-up shots Nathan, great result all round
Appreciate it 🍻
Wicked stuff mate. Always good to see what your up to.

Thanks, will do!

That first mob Nathan!!!
Excellent editing mate.👍🏼
Appreciate it 🍻
I saw at least one twofer.

I have a red/white light bar. Much better than red foil.
Another rippa Nath, the 223 definitely did the job mate, well done cheers Yogi ✌️
You are one damned fine shot, Sir. I am always very impressed.
Thanks 👌
@@EDGEoftheOUTBACK Takes one to know one. 25 Years military service and shot inter-service . You are far better than I ever was.
Nice Nathan. You're like the Predator. That thing looks fun. Good luck with that Amarok. cheers.
Thanks 👍

Smashed me for a few days this effort. Damn cold air 😕
Great video, nice to see that the moderator is doing it's job.
Great work! Good to see how effective the semi is over a bolt, and how fast the suppressor heats up only after a couple of shots. very cool.
Mate you and rj are the best. Just put the truck mods on this channel. I dare say we are all into both hunting and mods, love your work. 👊
Totally agree. Pretty much everything hunting/outdoors/4 wheeling goes!
Very true, but the global views might suffer as we only have toy trucks 😆
Very impressed you took the time to set up the camera for those secondary shots of yourself whilst shooting. A lot of work goes in to getting that B roll footage and editing it all together, Thanks for the effort, the videos are great.
Really appreciate it 🍻
Your thermal is so good I can make out the individual baffles in the silencer after each shot. Unreal.
Glad to see you back😊
Another great vid, really enjoy your content! Thanks.
Much appreciated!
Boom! Friday night and he’s back!
Would love to see the 4×4 build here. Snippets would be fine, but more is better!
Great job as always! Thanks for doing what you do and taking us along for the ride!
Noted!
Hey Nath, thanks for another awesome video 🙏 Looks like the pig problem is not getting any better 😞 Great work as usual. Take care and regards.
Thanks 👍

Thanks Michael 👌
Ooo couple of misses tonight Nath, head cold must be pretty serious 😄
It was!
Another great vid Nathan…. You definitely have to be selective with shot placement with the .223…. Nice work mate…👍👍🍺
Absolutely
Welcome back Nathan love your work
Great work Nathan, I hope you are feeling better soon, God Bless from Ireland North!
I am!

Good to see the Channel back up, man.
Thanks 👌
Another excellent video Nathan, well done.
Geoff. UK.
Thoroughly enjoyed. It's hard enough getting the results with VPAC, let alone filming as well as you do. You're killing it 💯 (no pun intended 🙃)
Cheers 🍻
Great work Nathan.
Cheers 🍻
Always enjoy watching. Keep doing your thing.
Thanks, will do!
Well done Nathan 👏 .🤙🦊
Only recently subscribed to your channel as I didn’t know you existed. My favourite videos of yours are the air rifle ones. Good work 👍
Cheers mate, few coming up soon 👍
A pro is a pro, thank you for sharing Nathan.
Thanks for watching!
Nathan you must have been a gamer that shooting reminded me of it lol great work as usual mate nice job congrats on the new vehicle 👍🦘🇭🇲
Definitely not a gamer, pretty sure they are not transferable skills 😶
Ahh, was wondering when the new video was going to turn up. Off we go :D
Welcome back.
Made a good lunch time view this one 👍
Mate i thought it was a mic downgrade (joke) had the same nasal issue about 8 weeks ago, just wouldn't go away.
Great work as usual mate,
Cheers 👍👍
Plenty of bad bugs cycling around this year 😫
@EDGEoftheOUTBACK not bloody wrong mate, i picked up 2 in 4 weeks
What? No KFC? On some sort of health kick, Nath?
As always, love your work.
The barrel and suppressor warming up was cool 😎
Great stuff👌🏻
Thank you 🙌
Great to see you back
Love your work 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers
Welcome back :)
I wish I could live the rest of my life like this. I envy you and thanks for the entertainment. 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Hey Nathan you should do a video tour of the new shop for hunt the night when they open up 😊
Thumbs up, as always. Best wishes for your good health.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Cheers
oh to have a semi auto .223 :-( didnt think you could have semi's let alone a suppressors over there? good to see a semi being so effective..very jealous
Thanks 👍
Absolutely awesome footage Nathan, keep up the great work. P.s. did you hit the water pipe, bit bigger than a fence wire but history....😂😂😂😂🍻
No mate, I didn't hit the pipe. Watch the clip as I'm stalking in, there's water spurting on that before I'd fired a shot.
The white hot exhaust from the 4 wheeler on the thermal was cool
It definitely shows up that heat
A great outing Nathan 👍😎
I also had a short barrelled .308 which was ideal for walking channels in the outback where I lived, and a Winchester lever action in .22 Cal. That was many years ago and I no longer have any firearms.
Nice gun. I have 13 of them in my safe in various configurations and calibers
Great video Nathan , did you take the 223 out because the 308 is still having cycling problems or did you get that problem sorted
Nice going Nathan. 👍
Great shooting as always. If you want to do a build collab, my suggestion would be to have a crack at the bloke from the Explore Life channel. Right up their alley!
Nice work Nathan. 👍
Thanks 👍
Love the 223 Nath..the factory fiocchi vmax load is extremely consistent and accurate i find.
Totally agree
Looks like there was a fox just behind your left shoulder at 10:07 😀 probably just me after that 0% Guinness. Great video, thanks
Thanks 👍
Greetings from South Africa. Love your videos.
Cheers
Thank you for a great video, very helpful.
Awesome work 👍😎
Thanks 👍
Awesome stuff mate.
Another great video mate much appreciated, love the footage. Hope your feeling better now. But im quite surprised a bush boy such as yourself would buy an Amarok, or rebdaged Ford Ranger? I wouldve thought you wouldve got a Hilux or a Dmax.
I spend a fair bit of time doing long miles. Got the car which to us had the nicest comfort. A hilux definitely wasn't that 😶
I thought the thumbnail said FEDERAL Pigs and I was very confused for the first minute of the video 😂
I like you sense of humor.
Unfortunately my wife doesn't see it all the time 🤫
Amarok, now we're talkin'. Just about to get my new one after having the first shape for 10 years.
Nathan, glad it was just a head cold, and we don't have to call you Natalie!
Been called worse 😆
Love your vids Nathan, I envy U!
Great Video! Thanks again
"As you can see behind me I have an absolutely beautiful sunset here"
Nah I think people were looking at the absolutely beautiful rifle hahah
Possibly 😎
As someone famous once said…….”you have ceased to be “🐖
Great work Nathan 👍
Great video 🤙🍻
Thanks 👍
Good hunting buddy.
