Born and raised, I knew these street like back of my hand....Use to be a lot better...There used to be real retail on Central Ave. nowadays most of south end and uptown consist of abandon homes, gangs, no real stores, dark as shit at night and you can no longer just stroll down first st. judson, lex,,,,,second ave past slingerlands, etc
