Witnessed this performance live in Montreal that Tour, and the next couple tours that followed it. Have to say, after seeing them perform live since ‘84 - never missing a tour, this particular live version was indeed a miraculous moment. The sheet intensity, talent, chops and full-on execution is just quite simply spellbinding. The Triumvirate was indeed a miraculous joining of minds, hearts and talents, and this moment is a testament to what can be achieved in life if you don’t burn out too fast, but instead nurture your talents and give it your all, all the time. That's the look I had on my face when I first heard this version of Working Man. If there was ever any doubt about how great Rush are, you only need to slap this on and prepare to have your jaw hit the ground. Geddy's bass playing here is legendary and that puts him at No.1 - no contest. Alex isn't a shredder but when he lets loose, he is insane. Just listen to the way Geddy & Neil lay out that thumping drum & bass groove in the lead up to his shred. That's a gold standard right there.
