  • Scott Ransley faced an uncertain future when an IED caused irreparable damage to his right eye while he was serving with the Royal Marines, 42 Commando Lima Company, in Afghanistan in 2011.

I served my self as an escort gunner/ vehicle operator with the 1058th Transportation Company Massachusetts Army National Guard during Operation Iraqi Freedom 03 to 04.     The worst thing being in theatre is the young that was sent there with no combat experience that you don't hear about or see that have been scared for life and kudos to you brother 👏👏👏👏👏 from still serving soldier 👍👍👍👍

    I was told I could go to SSAFA, it's in question at present, miscommunication and not factual which leaves me up in the air unfortunately, hopefully this breakdown in clause from work experience will rectify itself and I will move forward. I've left it with Ben Wallace too.I will not regret my time in the forces.
