I feel like if there was a rom hack of this game, fixing the faulty level design, make the enemy design less generic and give Freddy 3 or 4 random grooves (the way he chooses to attack you), this game would be good party fun.
Well, Pacnsacdave was able to modify the code of 2 LJN games in his ROM hacks: Freddy VS Jason & Jason VS Freddy (Friday The 13th)-All players share items, starter weapon is not rock LJN Defender (Wolverine)-More lives, Claws don't drain life If he modifies A Nightmare On Elm Street, Freddy would move faster & probably jump lower (so that you can't just walk under him when he jumps).

I feel like that's something he should be able to beat, and something he should give a second chance to since he didn't care for in the James and Mike Monday episode. You'll need a few pointers... In the Dream World, enemies take an extra hit to be defeated, so it takes longer to kill them. You need the Dream Powers to escape deeper pits (Athlete or Ninja) and make higher jumps in the Dream World. Also, when you battle Freddy in his realm, every time he jumps, there will be a Claw Glove erupting from wherever he's landed so avoid that landing point from his jumps! Great video, btw, you all look like you had a damn good time playing together. (And Erin, you are one very beautiful woman! :-) )

Seeing this in 4 player mode is like, wow. How any group of people can keep up with this effectively has to be skilled. James, Tony, Erin, and Mike all made it work pretty well.
