    You can mark the stock frame piece and cut it with the Dremel. The servo slips right in and everything works like stock

    It's coming along, RC Mojo! The servo mod is a huge improvement. If I were to request more mods to it, they would be a removing or shortening of the spring inside the shocks to remedy the stiffness, removing one or two leaf springs for better articulation and adding a slipper clutch... Then you got yourself a very capable crawler. I have seen videos where bruisers/hg p407s perform better than actual crawlers. Please please please, do these mods (I can't afford one of these rigs at the moment so seeing someone do them would bring me a lot of joy. Thank you for the entraining video as always!

      I'llkeep the mods in mind. The leaf springs are softening up quite nicely, even with the full pack it's trying hard to flex. It's quite fun trying to get the old rig around courses in it's current state, you have to be so careful.
      I'm not sure about the slipper, so far the only damage the trucks had is from the bearings giving up rather than the torque from the motor, we'll see how it goes though, if it starts eating gears once the bearings are replaced with good ones we'll know the cause.

    How did you thread the steering shaft?

    • @RCMojoTV
      @RCMojoTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The link between the servo and knuckle? That would be M3 studding or all thread, you can buy it by length and cut it to fit

    Hi there, there seems to be a lot of slap from my leaf springs can you suggest what I can do to stop this please. Rob from England.

      With a leaf sprung RC you always want a nice bit of rattle. If they’re tight they’re binding which causes excessive wear. Ideally the parts would use miniature poly bushes through out, but the parts just aren’t big enough for them to be practical

      The STL is available on Thingiverse, you can send it to someone with a 3D printer, or look for a business that'll do it for you www.thingiverse.com/thing:3677481

    Hi Nick, love these how to videos.
    I was wondering if you would 3d print me one of you're front mounts, i would pay you for it as i don't have a 3d printer. If you have a PayPal account i can use this to pay you if you're up for it. Like i say, I'm more than happy to pay for one.
    Really liked the trailing video at the end of the video.

      Sure thing, as long as you don't mind working around the bit mentioned on Thingiverse. I hope to update it at some point, but I'm not sure when that'll be.
