    Your videos are very helpful and informative, thank you for taking your time to produce them. I. have 2 Mercedes a 2010 S550 and a 2005 C240. I went with s550 a few months ago as mileage was only 43kmi. And came with a lot of standard equipment, I didn’t realize E550 has all the great luxury items of the S550. My impression on my short ownership is the car is big, very long car, extremely comfortable ride even with low profile tires. I have same vibration as you do and ordered trans mount 🤞 I hope I solve vibrations as you did i in previous video. After this video I will get battery checked as I have starter dragging problem also. Prior to the S550 I had a 2004 S500 and it was smooth as silk but the PSE system started giving numerous headaches…so I got the S550. Now my C240 is as reliable as a Toyota or Honda but more durable….paint is 18yo and still shines like a 5yo car, very impressive. The M112/113 engine with 722.6 transmissions are sooo good for daily driving just slightly thirsty and easy to work on. The draw back on C class is no luxury appointments and cheap interiors are plasticy, I understand price point, but if anyone reads this and needs a reliable cheap car ….don’t hesitate to go for the early 2000s C classes….just my opinion and experience

      Thank you for the kind words! Good luck with the vibration... hopefully the transmission mount will take care of it.

      Lol. Monthly video uploads have been mid-month since the start. I think the earliest video I have uploaded was on the 11th, while the latest was probably this one, which came on the 17th. Expect each update video to fall within those parameters. ;)
      The fact that you've been "waiting on the next video", means a lot to me.
      Thanks for watching!!

      Clint Moran no problem Clint I appreciate you for making these videos for this specific reason: I OWN A 2011 Mercedes E550 out of WARRANTY as well . ((A little insight)): I purchased mines from an online dealer “Carvana” back in August of this year and since then I’ve already had major services done on this vehicle such as, fuel garage sensor with fuel line replacement and driver side window regulator and power motor. I wish I would of uploaded it so you could of added it to your channel for Benz owners to see what to expect

      @@Atl_celebrity hope you are enjoying yours as well. Any vehicle of this complexity and age is bound to have a few quirks here and there. Overall, it has been a lot of fun owning this car.

      Clint Moran yes sir very much every time I get into my E550 I think of Mercedes Benz famous slogan, “ The Best Or Nothing”

    Nice to the point video, would be nice to know how much it will cost to fix at dealership.

      @@cdm121880 I had the same Comand knob issue on mine. Dealer quoted around $700 to do it. And the replacement unit (the whole assembly from the console) would still have had the plastic shaft, which is a well-known failure point. I also did mine myself. Hardest part was getting the side trim off the console.

    Congratulations Clint on an efficient fix to this common issue - too bad MB created it by using plastic not metal for this part. Today 22 November 2019 marks 1-year ownership on my 2013 E550 4matic sedan, now with 60600 miles, and I am happy to report no issues beyond what I said in the comment to your part 6.

      Good to hear!
      Yes, I too was disappointed as I pointed out in the video. If your slogan is "The best or nothing.", you might go ahead and throw an extra 48 cents at these cars to upgrade this shaft. Thanks for watching!

    Congrats on getting that sorted! Can you post a video on how you fixed it? What's the name of the part you replaced with a metal part?

    • @cdm121880
      @cdm121880  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I repaired it alone so I wasn't able to film during the process, however, it is rather straightforward. Part is called "Comand axis shaft" iirc.

    Dealership would probably charge $750+ for that.

      Zero experience with the s550.
